Salt N Pepa |
Shoop shoop ba-doop! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, January 23!
Tonight we go back to the '80s and revisit the rise of hip-hop girl group Salt-N-Pepa — Cheryl James and Sandra Denton — in a three-hour Lifetime movie (originally intended as a miniseries). Given they are women in a male-dominated genre, their experience was probably not good. The duo are also producers for this movie, as is Queen Latifah. "Let's Talk About Sex." "Push It." "Whatta Man." "Expression." I love me some Salt-N-Pepa.
Elsewhere, the Danger Force accidentally reveals their secret identities, there's problems after as assassination, Reiner reflects on his life, and BBC America profiles nature through a year.
