What's On Tonight (Saturday): CBS, tell me a story

48 Hours

CBS! CBS! CBS! (Translation: "Happy 2021!") Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, January 2!

Holy first Saturday of the year, WOTers, tonight is slow in fresh, new offerings. Therefore, Top Pick goes to CBS' long-running newsmagazine 48 Hours, one of the last broadcast TV shows on Saturdays. The show has long since ditched its original format of telling about the first 48 hours of various crimes and mysteries. Current news rather than disappearances and murder is also an occasional topic, too. Tonight, the first episode of 2021: a disappearance 15 years ago.

Elsewhere, David Spade is back on television, Tracee Ellis Ross and Dakota Johnson try to figure out life, Dolly hosts classic SNL, good doggos celebrate 200 episodes, Toonami is back, and a weekend in the dimension of imagination continues.
