What's On Tonight (Saturday): Beat(s) by Gēmusetto

Gēmusetto: Death Beat(s)

Hi! Here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, December 5!

Tonight's Top Pick goes to Adult Swim's Gēmusetto: Death Beat(s), now in its second season. I don't get why it is airing in Toonami because it is an AS original, not an anime import. In the first season, Gēmusetto was challenging various gods for their relics. The animation is weird and too amateurish for my taste. The humor can be pretty crass, too.

Elsewhere, it's Christmas at the Casagrandes and for the Louds, baby chimps invade BBC America, HGTV goes to chateaus, Decades moves on up, and a Hogan family member hosts SNL.

Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing 🎥🎄 (Hallmark Channel, 8 p.m.): The anthology Christmas in Evergreen is back, and this time the focus is Frosty, the general in charge, Evergreen is in his domain in the land of Christmasia, after all. President Kringle has lettered Frosty to hold his ground against Krampus and his powerful army. If Frosty falls, so does most of the Northern Forest all the way up to the Reindeer River Valley. With Christmas approaching, Frosty tries to work out a Christmas truce to give everyone a rest, but the bells in Evergreen start ringing when Krampus' forces begin another assault on the city on Christmas Eve. It's a bombardment unlike anything Frosty, a veteran all the way back to the War of the First Noel, has ever encountered.
