60 Minutes / Our Cartoon President |
Good day, my fellow Americans! (And anyone reading from beyond our borders.) Have you voted yet? Maybe TV can help you decide, if you are still "undecided." On 60 Minutes (which surprisingly has never been a Top Pick), there are interviews with both the presidential candidates and their running mates. And then on Our Cartoon President, Cartoon Chuck and Nancy foresee a big win in November, so they decide to... sabotage their chances. Yeah.
Elsewhere, Maggie Cole is in big trouble, the truth about Mark is revealed, there's a Halloween party at Woodside High, Harriet Tubman endorses John Brown, Spider-Man struggles against Venom, Nicole Kidman meets an undoing, and Hannibal Buress exits Eric Andre.
What's your favorite scary movie, here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, October 25!

Chateau Christmas π₯ (Hallmark Channel, 8 p.m.): The title sounds really white.
Dwight in Shining Armor (BYUtv, 8:30 p.m.): Dwight, Gretta, and Baldric enjoy the festivities at the Woodside High Halloween party. But when the authorities disturb the protections against evil Baldric put in place, a horde of the undead come in search of Gretta to settle old scores.

Malory Towers (BYUtv, 8 p.m.): When Sally is taken seriously ill, Darrell blames herself and sneaks out of school find a doctor. Meanwhile, Alicia inspires anarchy in the dorm.
⭐ Our Cartoon President (Showtime, 8:30 p.m.): With the Democrats likely to win control of Congress, Cartoon Chuck Schumer and Cartoon Nancy Pelosi try to avoid the responsibilities of governing by sabotaging their own party's electoral chances. Terrible animation and jokes aside, this plot sounds horrible. In the handful of episodes I've seen, the show thrives on being anti-establishment, putting every Washingtonian on the same level. But even Cartoon Trump learns his lesson and the end of an episode (and somehow becomes a better person), which just doesn't jive with the reality I live in nor is part of the fantasy I wish to see.
Pandora (The CW, 8 p.m.): Jax and the team go in search of a lost alien race that may be the key to saving the universe, but they find themselves plagued by disturbing nightmares that arise out of each individual's personal traumas and most personal fears.
A Quiet Place π₯ (FX, 8 p.m.): A family must live in silence to avoid mysterious creatures that hunt by sound. Even the slightest whisper or footstep can bring death. I liked the movie quite a bit.
