What's On Tonight (Saturday): The Utopian States of David Byrne

David Byrne's American Utopia

Hello! Tonight, David Byrne brings his Broadway show to the small screen. HBO presents a performance of American Utopia, directed by Spike Lee. The musical, which includes music from Byrne's American Utopia album and songs from his Talking Heads days, received rave reviews when it opened in 2019. I figure this won't disappoint.

Elsewhere, Run the Jewels performs for Adult Swim, Amphibia gets an extended episode, Matthew McConaughey is a gentleman, SNL gets insecure, and Nat Geo spotlights the Photo Ark and some of Earth's rarest creatures.
