What's On Tonight (Sunday): All you need is Lovecraft

Lovecraft Country (via Tumblr)

¡Buenos dias! Tonight's Top Pick goes to the new HBO horror drama Lovecraft Country, which might just finish up its source material tonight. Inspired by the stories of H. P. Lovecraft, the series is about Jonathan Majors who travels the segregated country in the 1950s searching for his father, and he's accompanied by his friend Jurnee Smollett and his uncle Courtney B. Vance. On the way, he learns of dark secrets plaguing a town with him at the center. By the end of episode two, it had burned through at least a season worth of material.

Elsewhere, the Sunday pickings are getting slimmer. MTV awards the best in video music, Helter Skelter finishes its Manson tale, Uncle Clifford goes to war, W. Kamau Bell wraps the Shades for 2020, Top Gear goes to Nepal, and the Earps go on a break, airing the last of its pre-coronavirus episodes.

When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide, here's what's on television for tonight, Sunday, August 30!
