What's On Tonight (Saturday): A summer Sonata with your cursed mansion

The Sonata
The Sonata

HELLO! Tonight's Top Pick is the horror import The Sonata because I really wanted Crackle to be the Top Pick network. Crackle: Still a thing! The movie, which doesn't have good reviews is about young musician Freya Tingley who inherits a mansion from her father. A big mansion? What could go wrong! Well, this movie ties together classical music and horror movies. And they said it couldn't be done!

Elsewhere, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is back on Toomani and Jojo Rabbit is on a mission in Nazi Germany on HBO, a Australian mystery drama comes to Ovation, AMC concludes its run of Line of Duty, Chapa lets down the Danger Force, Primus has feelings for someone, Dr. Smith has an admirer, and the adventures on Hill Street come to an end.

Can two divorced men share an apartment without driving each other crazy, here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, August 1!

STREAMING & EARLY PRIMETIME

Battlefield Earth πŸŽ₯ (Tubi, 3 a.m.): Is this movie terrible? Terrible is an understatement. I saw it in theaters. But sometimes, I like to watch its awfulness. It is one of the new titles this month on the free-streamer Tubi.

Celebrity Bowling πŸ“Ί (Crackle, 3 a.m.): Sure, you can find this show on Amazon Prime, but this month, the first season of the show comes to the free streamer Crackle, alongside several other titles, including select seasons of classics like Bewitched, Charlie's Angels, Barney MillerThe Partridge Family, and 227.

Harley Quinn (HBO Max, 3 a.m.): No, these aren't new episodes. Instead, both seasons of this spectacular (and uber-adult) DC animated show about Gotham's anti-heroine come to HBO Max. It is one of several titles that go to the Max this month.

The Mummy πŸŽ₯ (Peacock, 3 a.m.): While the new selections aren't long for the new streamer that is only a few weeks old, the first two Mummys along with the Jurassic Park and Matrix trilogies are new to Peacock. Peacock Peacocks franchises!

Super Monsters: The New Class (Netflix, 3 a.m.): SPECIAL. Liked Saved by the Bell, but Super Monsters. Probably? I don't know. Ask a kid.
