What's On Tonight (Monday): 'American Dad Grieves' A Loss...Or Does He?

Via Gfycat

Hello all, Once again there is not a whole heck of a lot on tonight...but let's go thru the motions together nevertheless...This is What's On for July 13th 2020

8:00

The Neighborhood (CBS): Rerun of that time Dave accidentally knocked out the power to Cedric's house so he and his wife end up sleeping over Dave's house (reluctantly) and he ends up snooping thru Dave's stuff and ends up getting his feelings hurt. (Cedric you shouldn't have gone snooping)

The Titan Games (NBC): East Region Premiere finds UFC champ Tyron Woodley and Gold Medalist Hannah Tater as guest judges. (Wait since when does this show have guest judges?)

CMA Presents The best of  (ABC): Three hour long special celebrating the premieres that have taken place over 16 years of Country Music Awards. Hosted by Luke Bryant. (Why 16? The CMA's have been around longer than that right?)

9-1-1 (FOX): Rerun

Whose Line? (The CW): NEW episode has Gary Anthony Williams guest starring for the 5th time

Antiques Roadshow (PBS): NEW episode takes place in Salt Lake City where they look at A Phillip Margetts archive; a Patek Philippe ladies wristwatch; a 1910 Japanese silk needlework

Guy's Grocery Games (Food)

Brockmire (AMC): The channel reruns episodes from the first season of the IFC show starring Hank Azaria as a foul mouthed baseball announcer. (What--if you've never seen it--its new to you right?)

Pride, Prejudice, and Mistletoe (Hallmark): Starry Lacey Chabert and Brendan Penny

8:30

Bob Hearts Abishola (CBS): Rerun of that time that Bob tries to talk to Abishola about how unhappy her son seems which Abishola doesn't take too well. (Its actually a pretty cute episode, and her son is often the most underused character on the show so it was nice of the show to feature him for an episode--Also i liked how she barges into her son's room at one point and yells at him "Are You Unhappy?!?!?" "No Mother" "Bob Says You Are Unhappy, Tell Me He Is Wrong!!!"

Whose Line? (The CW): Rerun of Greg Proops 3  (oh i love that band!)

9:00

All Rise (CBS): Rerun of that time that Judge Lola travels to D.C. to surprise her husband who's there awaiting word on a job opportunity; Meanwhile Mark's dad (played by Tony Dennison of Major Crimes) goes on trial for murder and the defense attorney tries to come up with a strategy that won't also put Mark (who is in fact a prosecutor with the state) in the crosshairs of his boss.

The Wall (NBC): Damon and Delia from Delaware (Try saying that 5 times fast!)

9-1-1-Lone Star (FOX): Rerun

Penn and Teller Fool Us (The CW): Teller Talks!!! (Film At 11)

Antiques Roadshow (PBS): Rerun of Vintage NY from June of '16 where they take a look at an Emilie Galle cat painting from 1890; an RFK letter from 1968 (the year he was killed?); and a Philly candlestand circa 1765.

I May Destroy You (HBO): Much to Jerry's disappointment, arabella attends a support group for rape and sexual assault survivors run by an old high school acquaintance named Theo; In a flashback to 2004, we see how teenage Arabella treated young Theo. (Young Theo--that's gonna be the spinoff series here right?)

American Pickers (History): Moonshine bluegrass and drag racing--Bobby's Georgia homestead offer, and some Southern style picking. (Southern Style Picking???)

Big Time Bake (Food): Season Finale!

Buried Worlds with Don Wildman (Travel): Reports of a bizarre activity in the Louisiana bayou; Don joins an exorcism, seeking out ghostly cures to ward off evil, and hunts for a demonic beast in the wetlands. (shrugs)

Gomer Pyle (MeTV): An enforced furlough causes Gomer to become a civilian employee with the base. Will he annoy everyone as a civilian??? (Shazam???)

9:30

Green Pyle (MeTV): Oliver's barn becomes the new hangout spot for the town's youth.  (YOUTHS!!!)

10:00

Bull (CBS): The rare episode to not prominently feature the title character finds Chunk chomping at the bit to re-try the case of a wrongly convicted inmate which creates some tension when it turns out that Benny was part of the prosecution team that prosecuted him the first time around. (So that kinda puts them at odds cause in order to re-try the case, that would mean that Benny would have to work on the re-trial but from the opposite end of the courtroom)

Dateline (NBC):

All the Queens' Horses (PBS): Small Town, Large France  (what?)

American Dad (TBS): Top Pick of the night goes to this venerable show which tonight seems to touch on a serious matter when Stan struggles to cope with the untimely death of his father (this time for real!); meanwhile a canoeing trip does damage to Hailey and Jeff's relationship. (A synopsis like this makes it seems like the show is actually taking its characters seriously this week, which is probably a mistake to assume because its "American Dad" Irrelevance is in its DNA!) (Oh right and the episode is called "Ghost Dad")

Pawn Stars (History): Chum's temperature rises when an antique bike comes back his way; an impressive sculpture stops Rick in his tracks; The guys hit the road to travel down an iconic American highway to buy Rick's teenager dream car. (Shrugs)

Beyond the Unknown (Travel): Footage of a live snake monster in Alaska; a set of mysterious bones under Ben Franklin's house; and a storm of biblical proportions (Frogs raining down from the sky) (Wait, wait, wait--Ben Franklin's House????)

THAT'S ALL I GOT---I TOLD YOU THAT MONDAYS BE SLOW RIGHT? HEY WELCOME TO THE WORKWEEK---I HOPE IT DON"T SOMETHING....SOMETHING, SOMETHING, SOMETHING...WELCOME TO THE WORK WEEK!!!!
