What's On Tonight (Wednesday): America, we need to listen and talk about racism

OWN Spotlight: Where Do We Go from Here?, Part 1
Hello, America. These are certainly tough times for the country, and television can be a wonderful outlet to escape. For weeks, I've planned on highlighting What We Do in the Shadows tonight, perhaps my favorite show currently on the air and a hilarious diversion from the world around us. However, right now, it is more important to listen to things you might not want to. You need to if you want to be a strong ally. Oprah Winfrey's two-night video conference/roundtable certainly isn't definitive. It's the third roundtable-like primetime special in the past four days. But it is an assembly of various Black leaders telling stories, reflecting on history, commenting on racism and society, and sharing ideas for a better future.

Elsewhere, Netflix gives NYC doctors the spotlight, British detectives are back, What We Do in the Shadows slips back into the shadows until next season, Amy Sedaris celebrates Easter, SHIELD agents time jump again, and PBS revisits two of its best documentaries about Black America. [*fist-bump*] Balalalala, here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, June 10!
