What's On Tonight (Tuesday): "Greenleaf" Returns For Its Fifth Season

Via Giphy

... which will make Amadeus happy, for he is the only one I know who I think watches this show which airs on OWN (the Oprah Winfrey Network) Also in perusing the listings for tonight which is a lot of the same ol' same ol', I had no idea what else to make Top Pick so why not make Mr. Amadeus happy and make it Top Pick for a change. This is What's On for June 23rd 2020

8:00

NCIS (CBS): Rerun from November has the team investigating the death of a Marine which leads them to a politician running for re-election, and a hotel filled to the brim with live streaming spy cameras which may or may not have footage the dead Marine recorded moments prior to his death. (CBS? CBS? CBS?)

America's Got Talent (NBC): Its the 5th round of Auditions! (Whoa! How many rounds of Auditions are there?)

The Connors (ABC): Back to Back Reruns I believe, unless they get pulled and replaced with something else at the last minute as has happened the past week or two.

Hell's Kitchen (FOX): That fall of 2017 season continues to get rerun here for some reason.

Stargirl (The CW): Courtney must make a difficult decision after Pat confronts her about the consequences of recruiting new members to the JSA; Barbra shows up in support of Mike's science fair; Courtney, Yolanda, and Beth must prepare for their first major mission. (Yay????)

American Masters (PBS): In what was a close call for tonight's Top Pick--this show has a new two hour profile of recently deceased author Toni Morrison (narrated by Oprah! She's everywhere tonight!)

Love Under the Olive Trees (Hallmark): An olive oil contest pits two families against one another. (Ha, pits, get it?)

9:00

FBI (CBS): Rerun from October has A husband and a father getting kidnapped after unwittingly getting involved with terrorism business. (D'oh!) The FBI gang tries to track him down!

Black-ish (ABC): Again rerun from October unless ABC pulls it at the last minute in favor of something else.

24 Hours To Hell and Back (FOX): Rerun

Louis Anderson--Big Underwear (The CW): 2018 stand up show has Louis Anderson talking the talk!

Greenleaf (OWN): Top Pick of the night goes to the 5th season premiere show about the pastor and his wife of the Greenleaf Church. I've literally never seen it, but I know its got a strong following out there in the heartland.

Chopped (FOOD): Rabbit Terrine appetizers, Combining cake mix and ramen noodles in the entree round (really???); and a weird ice cream flavor for dessert. (Unless that cake mix and ramen noodles thing was the weird ice cream flavor???)

Ghost Adventures (Travel): Great Lakes Hotel

Drain the Oceans (Nat Geo): Chicago's past emerges from the waters of Lake Michigan.

Gomer Pyle (MeTV): Best man Gomer loses the wedding ring the night before the wedding. (D'oh!)

Mixed-ish (ABC): Rerun of an episode back from October--unless they pull it again at the last minute for something else, etc, etc.

10:00

FBI's Most Wanted (CBS): A cyberstalker must be stopped (yawn)

World of Dance (NBC): Callbacks (Finally this show is done with the various audition rounds)

The Genetic Detective (ABC):

Frontline (PBS): "Opioids INC,"---The rise of pharmaceutical company Insys Therapeutics and the federal prosecution that brought them down following charges of bribing doctors to prescribe a highly addictive opioid painkiller.

Dirty John (USA): "Scream Therapy"---Fighting her new reality, Betty goes on the offense. (Nods)

Supermarket Stakeout (Food):

Sea Monsters (Nat Geo): The Definitive Guide to the Deep (Is Nat Geo Rolling In The Deep???)

Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel (HBO): What Sports Are There To Even Report On Right Now??? Tune In and Find Out!

Celebrity Show Off (TBS): And finally tonight we have a brand new prank the celebrities game show happening here--hosted by Mayam Bialik! (I don't know why either!) Tonight's premiere hour finds Bel Prowley maybe being haunted by a ghost, but we all know better! (So its kinda like Punk'd but also kind of Candid Camera as well?)

THAT'S ALL I GOT HERE FOR NOW!!! HAVE A GOOD TUESDAY????
