What's On Tonight (Monday): "American Dad" Has A Game Night & Some Geese

Via Giphy

Hello one and all, Tonight's Top Pick is American Dad a show still going strong and now 9 episodes into its 17th season, where i believe it will run thru the rest of the summer every Monday night as well. Is it still as good as it once was? Its funny at times, kinda silly at others...which is good enough for a summertime show on the usually very slow Mondays when there's seriously not much else on that aren't reruns. Hey I'll take what I can get! This is What's On for June 22nd 2020

8:00

The Neighborhood (CBS): Rerun from April has a mysterious package arriving at Dave and Gemma's house which has the unexpected result in the two of them arguing about the power dynamics in their marriage, which then spreads next door to Cedric and Tina's house as well. (Ohh CBS!)

The Titan Games (NBC): West Region 2---The True Meaning of a Titan. (These episodes have subtitles now apparently!)

The Bachelor--Greatest Season Ever (ABC): This time the show looks back at the Ben Higgins season. (Ben Higgins!!! Who??? I dunno)

9-1-1 (FOX): Rerun

Whose Line? (The CW): NEW! Jonathan Magnum 6

Valentine Ever After (Hallmark): A woman finds her true calling while performing community service for her involvement in a bar brawl. (Oh we've all been there Hallmark Channel) Starring Autumn Reeser and Eric Johnson.

8:30

Bob Hearts Abishola (CBS): Bob, Douglas, and Christina (those last two are Bob's siblings) are struggling while trying to care for their mother Dottie during her immediate recovery of her stroke. (Abishola ends up helping out tho)

Whose Line? (The CW): Rerun of Brad Sherwood 3

9:00

All Rise (CBS): Judge Lola and Public Defendant Emily clash with regards to the testimony of the young daughter who was a witness to the death of their parent in the case that is being tried; Meanwhile Mark's key witness in another trial (a less severe case as its not a homicide) is being held in a jail in Vegas, and Mark must go out there to bail him out which he's not thrilled with as he once had a serious gambling problem, and so for him having to go to Vegas is not ideal. (CBS? CBS? CBS?)

The Wall (NBC): "Jermie and Nikki"

9-1-1-Lone Star (FOX): Rerun

Penn and Teller-Fool Us (The CW): Season Premiere of this summertime staple hosted by Penn and Teller!

Buried Worlds with Don Wildman (Travel): Visiting a sleepy VA town with a connection to the Lost City of Roanoke. (Hmmm...this episode has a title "Demon Weeds")

Gomer Pyle (MeTV): Carter must postpone his vacation until his men pass their PFC (fitness) exam.

Green Acres (MeTV): Lisa and Oliver board an airliner headed to Washington.

10:00

Bull (CBS): He must prepare a defense for a state judge who's on trial of obstruction of justice after she helped a witness evade federal arrest in her courtroom. (Can she just plead ignorance of the law? It'd be funny if a state judge pleaded ignorance of the law in her own trial right?)

Dateline (NBC):

Independent Lens (PBS): "Pipe Dreams"--Four organ players with their own pressures and abilities preparing for the Canadian International Organ Competition in Montreal.

American Dad (TBS): Top Pick of the night goes to this convivial show (am i using the word convivial right here?) where tonight "Stan drags the family to a labyrinth for a family game night; Roger gets a flock of geese" (Wait how is that not the main storyline here???)

Duff Takes The Cake (Food): "May the Cake Be With You" (A Star Wars themed cake???)

Pawn Stars (History): An autographed Apollo 10 book, Joey Fatone guest stars again (well i mean if he's available, why not use him right?)

GOOD LORD IS THERE VERY LITTLE ON TONIGHT. IT MUST BE MONDAY! OR AS THE GREAT ELVIS COSTELLO SAYS "WELCOME TO THE WORK WEEK!!!!" STECHEL OUT!
