NCIS (CBS): Rerun of the episode where a retired Marine dies and the team finds a most valuable coin in his possession and the team needs to determine where this coin originated from and how it came to be in the man's house. (It involves a lot of flashback scenes of the NCIS team portraying characters in past decades as we see the story of the man's life as depicted in a diary acted out by the actors on the show---we get to see Mark Harmon sport and twirl a trim mustache at one point!!!)
Countdown To The Voice Finale (NBC): Hour long filler takes a loving look back at the season that just passed as NBC counts down to the big finale at 9.
The Story of Soaps (ABC): Two hour look at the genre that tracks how female creators migrated from radio to tv to become the dominant force in daytime for more than 3 decades, and the massive impact the genre had across the world. (This sounds like something that should air on PBS and not ABC)
The Masked Singer (FOX): Rerun!
Star Girl (The CW): You thought this was gonna be Top Pick right? Brand spanking new series premieres involving Courtney a young girl who is upset that she has to move away from her friends and life in LA to Nebraska, but then discovers that Pat (whoever Pat is) is harboring a major secret about his past, she becomes the inspiration for others. (presumably thanks to Pat's secret) Starring Brie Bassinger, Luke Wilson, and Amy Smart. (Excelesior CW!)
Nova (PBS): Deadly Tornadoes (A rerun from January 2012 that takes a look at tornadoes that occurred in 2011)
9:00
FBI (CBS): Rerun about a bank holdup that leads the team to a safety deposit box, the contents of which have the potential to endanger national security. (Ruh-Roh!)
The Voice (NBC): The Finale Results Show Is Here! The Finale Results Show Is Here!
24 Hours To Hell and Back (FOX): Rerun of this Gordon Ramsey hosted "lets fix these crumbling restaurants and open em back up" show
Legends of Tomorrow (The CW): Season Finale Time finds that after drinking from a chalice, the Legends have immortality fro 24 hours, which gives them time to get to the Waverider and use the Loom of Fate, but they all get stuck at Constantine's house having to wait out a horrible zombie apocalypse. (Is there such thing as a nice zombie apocalypse???) (Maybe the zombie apocalypse is a metaphor for the Corona Virus and their season finale cliffhanger involves them all having to quarantine at Constantine's house!) (What? Its an idea!)
American Experience (PBS): "Mr. Tornado" Japanese American researcher Tetsuya Theodore Fujita aka Mr. Tornado, creates a Fujita scale that measures tornado intensity and damage and is credited with advancing modern understanding of science weather phenomena. (Nice! And Here's To You Mr. Fujita...Mr. Tornado to those who brave....these strong winds....these strong winds)
Lost Gold of WW2 (History): "A Bone To Pick" (oook)
Chopped (Food):
Gomer Pyle (MeTV): Gomer goes for a visit to Mayberry and looks around.
9:30
One Day At A Time (Pop):
Green Acres (MeTV): Lisa uncovers a secret about Oliver's past while in NYC.
10:00
FBI's Most Wanted (CBS): Rerun of that time a Native American man takes matters into his own hands after his daughter is abducted and the local police do nothing to help him. (I guess the FBI frowns on vigilante justice when its not the white man taking it into his own hands!) (Hey that's not fair, the FBI investigates plenty of white men taking matters into their own hands) (Do they Matthew? Do they really???) (Yes, yes they do)
The Genetic Detective (ABC): New Summer Filler Series Premieres (Woo!!!!) "Moore works with Seattle's County Sheiff's Office on the double homicide of a young couple who disappeared in 1987 after taking a ferry from Vancouver to Seattle and were later found miles apart, bound, gagged, and dead" (Will this be this years "Reef Break" or "Take Two" or that show that Paula Patton was on that i forgot the name of?) (It was a show called "Somewhere Between" which i would've never guessed) (You guys remember The Whisperers? Milo Ventimiglia summer series a good year before This Is Us---it involved aliens abducting children and it was terrible--also ABC summer series) (You guys remember "The Gates???" and "Scoundrels" with Virginia Madsen???) (Ok i'll stop!)
Frontline (PBS): Inside Italy's COVID War
Secret of Skinwalker Ranch (History): A cow mysteriously dies while surveillance footage poses some weird explanations. (Maybe the cow just spontaneously combusted--that does happen right?)
Tirdy Works (Tru TV): Mary attempts to diversify into other products. (nods)
10:30
The Last O.G. (TBS): When Tray's relationship advice to Paul fails big time, Tray and company take him out to the strip club so he can cut loose and try to find himself. (Try to find yourself at a strip club???)
HAPPY TUESDAY EVERYONE---MAY THE SPIRIT OF TUESDAY FILL YOU UP WITH THE GLORIOUS FEELING OF TUESDAY! (I don't know where I was going with this either!)
