What's On Tonight (Saturday): Paranoia of what lurks in the shadows

Paranoia Agent (via Tumblr)
Choushi wa dou desu ka? It's S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y night, and the pickings are slim. Tonight's Top Pick is an anime classic that began its run last week in Adult Swim's Toonami block. Paranoia Agent begins about Tsukiko Sagi, a shy but immensely popular character designer, who is attacked by a young boy with a bat — Lil' Slugger. Detectives think she is lying until there's another attack, and soon begin attempting to find connections and the perp as the victims begin to pile. The David Lynch-like series starts slow as a thriller before leaning harder into the psychological and horror genres. Elsewhere, kids pick their best of the year, Lennie James fails to cover-up his crimes, Demon Slayer finishes season one, and Joe Coffey departs the Hill. And the kids' choice for Favorite TV Listings goes to...what's on television for tonight, Saturday, May 2!
