What's On Tonight (Monday): 'All Rise' For the Promised Quarantine Episode....

Hello everybody!!! Tonight we got the "All Rise" episode that was commissioned by CBS CBS CBS after the exec producers of that show were all like "Hey you know we could actually do an episode of our show from our respective houses! We don't need a studio audience for our show, and its not like we solve crimes on our show either as we spend most of it indoors in a courtroom anyways!" Will "All Rise" set an example for other dramas or is this just a one-off experimental episode? (I'd bet on one off experiment--but if the shutdown continues on well into the summer....TV's gotta find a way to produce new episodes of their shows right????)  This is What's On for May 4th 2020
8:00

The Neighborhood (CBS): This more than adequate sitcom airs back to back new episodes tonight (which I gotta think depletes the stock of new episodes they have for this show) In this half hour we have "A near accident awakens Dave's sense of civic pride prompting him to team with Cedric to try and improve the safety of the neighborhood (hey that's the title!); A trip to the county fair turns into a nerve racking adventure for Malcolm, Marty, and Grover." (CBS CBS CBS)

The Voice (NBC): The Top 17 Performances; The winner from the 4 way knockout is revealed with the remaining 17 singers all performing competitively against one another. (All 17 in one night???)

9-1-1 (FOX): The 118 races to rescue a little girl in a runaway hot air balloon and help with a city power outage caused by a hijacked tree trimmer truck; Athena's investigation into the serial rapist case puts her life in jeopardy.

The Bachelor-Listen To Your Heart (ABC): Week 4 (Week 4?!?!?!?)

Whose Line? (The CW): Candice Patton (aka Iris from The Flash) guest stars this week (Is she funny???? I honestly don't know!)

Antiques Roadshow (PBS): McNay Art Museum Hour 3 finds the show looking at "a Van Cleef and Angels diamond ring, an 1897 San Antonio Folk Art carved cane; and a Kathy Kollwitz print drawing. (Them Antiques!!!)

Chance At Romance (Hallmark): A woman's online relationship with a famous photographer is actually with said photographer's son. Will romance bloom even with the deceit??? Starring Erin Krakow and Ryan McPartin.

8:30

The Neighborhood (CBS): Dave makes a run for city council working hard to earn Cedric's support, only to have a controversial photo threaten to derail his campaign. (Wait Dave is suddenly interested in politics now??? I mean CBS CBS CBS)

Whose Line? (The CW): Rerun of Brad Sherwood 5 from last July.

9:00

All Rise (CBS): Top Pick of the night goes to this courtroom drama somehow making a new episode post Coronavirus Shutdown with everyone in its cast quarantined. "After a shelter in place order is issued in LA, Brenner orders Judge Lola to preside over a bench trial from her home because trials are piling up" (and Justice Can't Wait! Justice Never Quarantines! Justice Never Shuts Down!) (Ahh pick your favorite of the three!!!!)

9-1-1 Lone Star (FOX): Rerun of the pilot episode (since normal timeslot holder "Prodigal Son" officially ran out of episodes last week)

Roswell New Mexico (The CW): Max sets out to find Cameron after hearing that she's gone missing; Michael grows concerned about Maria after a surprising discovery about her family history leaves her vulnerable; Rosa makes a decision about her future. (Nods)

American Experience (PBS): Two hour profile of former President George W Bush chronicling his Presidency and all the things that happened during it. (I guess that's why they needed the two hours! One for each term right???)

Creepshow (AMC): Tonight AMC starts running episodes of this anthology horror show that already aired on horror themed streaming service Shudder (which AMC owns so it was only a matter of time before it crossed over onto the network) Tonight we have two back to back episodes (each of which have two stories each) starting with "A man's drinking habit becomes insatiable and finds his appetite growing frighteningly destructive" and "A severed toy head appears in a girl's dollhouse and starts murdering people" (The head starts murdering people???)

American Pickers (History): "The boys have an appointment with the doctor" (???)

Mysteries at the Museum (Travel): John Wilkes Booths' immediate steps post Lincoln assassination are chronicled as is the origins of the American Mob. (The mob immigrated here from Italy didn't it??? or is that just a stereotype??? This actually sounds like something that should be airing on History and not the ghosts obsessed Travel Channel to be honest)

Spring Baking Championship (Food): Season Finale!

10:00

Bull (CBS): "Wrecked" I gotta imagine this is the last episode that was completed before the shutdown happened.

Songland (NBC): Martina McBride sits in on the judges panel of this "Shark Tank" but with musicians pitching songs reality show.

The Baker and the Beauty (ABC): While meeting the Garcias for the first time, Noa accidentally reveals a big secret; Vanessa shows up unannounced and finds herself face to face with her rival for the first time. (Sounds like Drama!!!)

American Dad (TBS): "A Starboy Is Born"

Creepshow (AMC): 2nd episode of the night here has "A platoon of American soldiers finds a sinister force behind enemy lines (its a werewolf going from the episode title); and a man with a passion for found objects finds a chopped off finger that won't stop growing after he brings it home with him" (Why would he bring it home with him?!?!?)

My Brilliant Friend-The Story of a New Name (HBO): This Italian imported show has its 2nd season finale tonight and runs until 11:15. (just in case you were watching it--i believe Alien Jesus is!)

Pawn Stars (History): The gang revists a thermonuclear weapin cover, a desk with a dark secret, a precussion pistol from the 1880s, a child sized musket, a thunder mug and finally a massive mortar shell. (That's a lot of random things!)

Mummy Mysteries (Travel): This new Travel Channel show takes a look at the mummified remains of one Pharoah Segenenre Taa. (I don't know who this is either!)

COPS (Paramount): This is the 32nd episode of the 32nd season of this show! (I love the synergy)
"The late night search for a wanted man turns up some unexpected results; 2 suspects watch their lies fall apart when an officer recognizes them; officers urge a woman to turn her life around so she can protect her dogs???" (COPS IS FILMED IN FRONT OF A LIVE STUDIO AUDIENCE!!!!)

Almost Paradise (WGN): Episode 5!

WELCOME TO THE WORK WEEK ONE AND ALL! LETS DO THIS AGAIN TOMORROW NIGHT SHALL WE???
