Totally Tunes: Nice Day For A White Wedding

Here comes the brideeeeeee... or whatever. I'm not a big wedding person. I mean, I guess getting married is okay and such, but the whole wedding thing, like, the ceremony, the reception, gifts, people you barely know being invited AND getting tanked... it's so much goshdarn cringe for me. Just have a damn civil union ceremony with close family and friends and call it a day. But that's like, my opinion, man. Anyways, here are songs about weddings.

Let's begin with the song I quoted in the title. Like me, the song is kinda anti-marriage and quite grim, but that doesn't stop people from playing it at receptions, as it has "wedding" on the title. Sigh.

Haven't you people ever heard of closing the goddamn door?

Karen O wrote this song to use as her very own wedding vows:

And Bowie wrote this one for his wedding to Iman back in the 90's:

Also, while we're at "wedding songs people wrote for people", The Pet Shop Boys wrote this one for a friend of theirs who was getting hitched:

Last, but not least, I want to put an Eurovision tune, because otherwise it wouldn't be me!

So, what's your favorite wedding song, or song about weddings? Do you like grim wedding songs, or happy upbeat ones?
