Not Joey! Not Joey! Not Joey! CBS! CBS! CBS! (Liza Snyder! Kevin Nealon! Stacey Keach! Kali Rocha! The various people who play LeBlanc's kids!) This sitcom that i keep on cheering for returns tonight for an unlikely 4th season! (and its first one not on Mondays as well) Do you believe in miracles??? Matt LeBlanc sure does as this was a heavy favorite to be cancelled in the fall of 2016 before it even premiered--but has gone on to do decently enough that its managed to eke out an unlikely survival! It helped that LeBlanc and the cast of pros are all able to sell the material as best they could, (its literally there's a problem and LeBlanc tries to come up with a plan to solve it every single week---and sometimes they're absurdly terrible plans, some weeks they're actually workable!--the point is he's always planning!) Its a very CBS-y sitcom to be sure, but its the kind of solidly made one that was built to be a TBS daytime stable for years to come. (Although i gotta admit it would be weird to go from reruns of Friends to reruns of this since he's you know married with 3 kids here!)
