Totally Tunes: Smile!

Well, aren't we all knee deep in crap? The world is undergoing some changes that mean terrible times for us all, so it's understandable everyone's a bit (if not fully) gloomy. Alas, we have to keep on going, or at least put up a smile to try and cheer those around us, who are also living in these troubled times and are most likely every bit as hopeless as the news paint us.

One thing I happened to notice is that there are A LOT of songs out there called "Smile". So, in order to try and boost all of our spirits, I've selected some of those for today's article. Let's begin with the most famous one of them all, the Charlie Chaplin one, in this case I've selected the video of Judy Garland's iconic cover of it:

Perhaps most unsurprisingly, Weezer smiled for us back then, on the Green Album:

There was a famous smile a few years ago... wait, what do you mean it's been over a decade since its release? Get off my lawn!

U2 did one for a sort of rare and unreleased tracks thing, but that didn't stop the fans from doing weird videos set to the song:

The shortest smile on this list is the one done by AFI (remember AFI?) back in 2000:
