What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Going down the Year of the Rabbit patrol

Year of the Rabbit (via Giphy)
Hello and welcome to the 200th What's On Tonight in our current home! It's been 200 days since we said farewell to Disqus channels (RIP). We celebrate the milestone with the British import Year of the Rabbit starring Matt Berry. The Victorian-set comedy is highly entertaining as Detective Inspector Eli Rabbit investigates crimes with help from his junior partner, Strauss, and Wisbech, Britain's first female police officer. There cases take them to the inner circles of  royalty, spiritualists, and the Elephant Man. Just don't expect much beneath the surface. Elsewhere, there's a murder plot in Riverdale, NASCAR helps the SEALs, Dave has bedroom problems, Boomerang is back, and Nora learns how grandma met grandpa. They may take our lives, but they'll never take what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, March 11!

STREAMING / EARLY PRIMETIME

Dirty Money (Netflix, 3 a.m.): PREMIERE. There's no sexy in the second season Netflix docuseries about corporate greed where each episode examines a different subject.

On My Block (Netflix, 3 a.m.): PREMIERE. This teen drama that has pretty strong reviews returns for a third season. Third?! Netflix, why haven't you told me about this? I watched all of East Los High!

The Test: A New Era for Australia's Team (Amazon, 3 a.m.): SERIES PREMIERE. Go Down Under in this docuseries about the Australian Men's Cricket Team.✔️

FOR THE RECORD: The Circle (Netflix, 3 a.m.); Fundamental. Gender Justice. No Exceptions. (YouTube, 3 a.m.); Married at First Sight: Unfiltered (Lifetime, 7:30 p.m.)

🕗 EASTERN / 🕖 CENTRAL

Braveheart ðŸŽ¥ (BBC America, 8 p.m.): Check out this Academy Award-winning movie about Scotsman William Wallace and his fight against the English for a free Scotland. I think it's good, but this version has commercials and runs four hours.

Modern Family (ABC, 8:30 p.m.): RERUN. Next week, MoFam returns to (finally) begin its final stretch. Tonight is a marathon of six episodes highlighted by "Caught in the Act," my pick for the show's best episode. Claire and Phil are unsure how to deal when their kids walk in on them having sex. Meanwhile, an e-mail mars Jay and Gloria's Vegas vacation, and Mitch and Cam try to get a hookup at a hot new restaurant. This episode is a masterpiece.

Riverdale (The CW, 8 p.m.): Jughead and Betty confront Bret, Donna, and Professor DuPont and unravel their plan to commit the perfect murder.✔️

Spotlight ðŸŽ¥(The Movie Channel, 8 p.m.): Check out this Academy Award-winning movie about the great things a 🗞️free press🗞️ can do!

Survivor (CBS, 8 p.m.): Tribes drop their buffs and switch things up. Tension in one tribe opens up an opportunity for new alliances.

🕘 EASTERN / 🕗 CENTRAL

Lego Masters (Fox, 9 p.m.): The teams must build a car and a strong bridge.

Nancy Drew (The CW, 9 p.m.): In "The Haunting of Nancy Drew," Nancy unravels what happened the night Lucy died, but it also reveals a devastating truth. I'm sure the ghost of Lucy is helping and being really, really creepy in doing so.

SEAL Team (CBS, 9 p.m.): Bravo Team travels overseas for a foreign training exercise to disguise its true mission: to rescue a high-value target that is being held hostage. NASCAR driver Austin Dillon gives the team a special driving lesson, which ya know, is just a day in the life of a SEAL team.

Sistas (BET, 9 p.m.): Sabrina becomes an unlikely hero after stumbling upon a terrible incident. Danni ventures out in an effort to put herself out there again.

Guy's Grocery Games (via Giphy)

🕙 EASTERN / 🕘 CENTRAL

68 Whiskey (Paramount Network, 10 p.m.): The gang discover the solution to many of their problems but getting their hands on it won't be easy. Duh. Davis, who recently signed to join a private contractor, struggles with a major decision.

Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens (Comedy Central, 10:30 p.m.): In the style of a Korean drama, Grandma tells Nora the story of how she met her husband. I'M SO ON BOARD WITH THIS.

Boomerang (BET, 10:30 p.m.): PREMIERE. Lena Waithe's other show is back for season two — and very loosely based on the movie. "As the gang heads to Homecoming, some with sex on their mind, it becomes clear how everyone has or hasn't changed since Simone and Bryson's breakup."✔️

Dave (FXX, 10 p.m.): Ally tries to open Dave up to new sexual experiences but inadvertently exposes his deepest, darkest insecurities. (She can do better, any way.) Dave asks his friends for advice about satiating Ally's newfound appetites.

The Funny Dance Show (E!, 10:30 p.m.): SERIES PREMIERE. With the help of world-class choreographers, comedians Jessimae Peluso and Flula Borg face off against Candice Thompson and Maz Jobrani in a funny dance battle to win $10,000 for charity.✔️

It's Personal with Amy Hoggart (truTV, 10 p.m.): Amy probably helps a person with anxiety in this episode, titled "Anxiety."

The Magicians (Syfy, 10 p.m.): "Margo learns to project. Josh goes to the spa."

S.W.A.T. (CBS, 10 p.m.): Deacon's second job working private security at a high-profile boxing match places the team in the middle of a kidnapping case when a prizefighter's wife is abducted. Darryl becomes frustrated with his lack of paternal rights regarding his son.

Twenties (BET, 10 p.m.): Hattie searches in vain for her happy place to write. Marie is pitted against the only other black executive at the studio, and Nia questions whether she's on the right career path.

⭐ Year of the Rabbit (IFC, 10:30 p.m.): As a mystery sniper kills in London, Rabbit must protect a visiting Prince of Bulgaria, deal with the Prince's sister, and an old flame who might be the murderer. Sergeant Mabel Wisbech is also in league with the evil women of The Vision, though she doesn't know they're bad news. Chief Inspector Wisbech, Rabbit's superior and Mabel's adopted father, is a scene stealer and Paul Kaye is really fun as Rabbit's archenemy.
