What's On Tonight (Tuesday): "The Resident" Works 9 to 5 To Treat A Dolly Parton Look-A-Like!

(What A Way To Make A Livin') Hello one and all, if it's What's On Tonight ye seek...answer me these riddles three--1)What makes NCIS so durable and long lasting? 2) What makes This Is Us so eternally popular? and 3) What the heck is a New Amsterdam anyways? (and what makes it not The Resident?)  This is What's On for March 10th 2020

8:00

NCIS (CBS): An officer is murdered the exact same way his parents were over a decade earlier; the team stumbles across a storage container that is filled with dollhouses that recreate murder scenes (oh that's not creepy at all); and the team members agree to clean out their living spaces. (Well i don't think it'd be physically possible for Gibbs' living space to get any cleaner--he got rid of everything he could to create room to fit those boats he's always building in his basement!)

Ellen's Game of Games (NBC): "Its A Party in the Goo.S.A." (shakes head)

The Resident (FOX): Top Pick arbitrarily goes to this well acted (Seriously this cast may be one of the best on tv right now) hospital drama tonight. Why? Because it should get it at least once more before i revert back to giving it to NCIS or The Flash every single Tuesday! (I exaggerate, but not by much to be honest!) ...... "A renown pediatric cardiac surgeon proves unfit for surgery; a Dolly Parton drag queen collapses on stage; Nic and Conrad suspect a patient may be the victim of sex trafficking; Nadine delivers some surprising new to Devon." (Dolly Parton! Dolly Parton! Dolly Parton!) (My younger nephew has a part in his town revue show where i kid you not--he's gonna be singing "Working 9-5!!!!") (What a way to volunteer in a town revue!!!!)

The Bachelor (ABC): Part 2 of the 2 part finale. Peter, Hannah, Ann, and Madison appear with Chris Harrison to talk about the tumultuous days in Australia, and the roller coaster of events that have happened since then. (Bachelor Finale Fever!!!! YEAH!!!!)

The Flash (The CW): Kid Flash returns to Central City with a Zen attitude and new tricks up his sleeve; Wally confides to Barry that he returned home because he feels that there is something wrong with the speed force; Cisco returns from his fact finding missions. (Wally's In The House, Kid Flash Is In The House, And Its Cisco's In The House...The Flash Is In The House....Everybody's In The House...Killer Frost Is In The House...That's all i got)

Sesame Street 50 Years and Still Sunny (PBS): Rerun of the 50th anniversary celebration that first ran last December.  (It was cute!)

Just Add Romance (Hallmark): 2 talented tv chefs, the exact opposite in culinary and temperament, find themselves competing on a cable cooking show. Starring Meghan Fehy and Luke MacFarlane. (I feel like i've described this one before!)

9:00 (whoa what happened to 8:30 here? What do you mean there's nothing starting at 8:30???)

FBI (CBS): When the team is called to the scene of a murder, it quickly suspects political motivation; Maggie contemplates a decision that could affect her entire career. ("You better start thinking about your career here!" "No you better start thinking about YOUR career here!") (You guys remember that sparking bit of dialog??? It was from "The General's Daughter")

This Is Us (NBC): The Pearsons go to New York City and well dramatic sparks fly. (NEW YORK CITY?!?!?!? I COULD'VE MET THEM!!! I COULD'VE TAKEN THEM TO RUDY'S AND GOTTEN CHEAP BEERS AND HOT DOGS WITH THEM!!! NEXT TIME PEARSONS!!!!)

Empire (FOX): Lucious hunts for a record deal for Yana but is met with surprising feedback from the label execs (wait i thought he WAS the label!); Cookie struggles with her inability to shake memories of the secret she's been keeping for 20 plus years now (????); Kingsley pushes for more control (which should be hard considering that he's been dead since the last season finale--but his ghost just keeps causing trouble for poor Andre who keeps seeing and hearing him thanks to the fact that Andre has Kingsley's heart beating in his chest)

Legends of Tomorrow (The CW): Ray plans a dark night with Nora but all goes awry when an Encore shows up; Ava learns what Sara has been doing while she was away and must confront her about it; Charlie and Constantine make a deal to work together again; Rory is upset by negative book comments. (This sounds like a packed episode--normally they don't have this many plotlines happening at once---episode is called "Mr. Parker's Cul De Sac" Ooook)

Schitt's Creek (POP): Moira's former "Sunrise Bay" producers show up in town with some big news while Alexis binge watches old episodes of the soap that her mom used to star on. (I'm guessing the big news is a reboot of the old show possibly reigniting Moira's career???)

Women of Troy (HBO): Documentary about the story of the USC Trojans Women's Basketball team of the 80s and how it changed women's basketball with its up tempo style and super athleticism en route to winning consecutive national championships. (If you like women's basketball then this would seem like a good doc to recommend I would guess???)

Curse of Oak Island (History): Waterlogged

Chopped (Food): A Pretty Pickle Pizza

Moonshiners (Discovery): Mike confronts David about stealing his customers. (How Rude!!!!)

Gomer Pyle (MeTV): Duke returns as the new corporal and finds his old reputation getting in the way. (I'm guessing his reputation was bad???)

9:30

American Masters (PBS): Rerun of the 2016 profile of Norman Lear--which was quite good--I watched it when it first aired!

Green Acres (MeTV): Lisa gives Ralph a 2 day beauty treatment after her true love stands her up. (shrugs) It happens I guess???

10:00

FBI Most Wanted (CBS): After the disappearance of his daughter goes ignored by local police, a Native American man demands to take matters into his own hands; the team must work to track him down before his crusade claims lives. (Well they don't call him Most Wanted for nothing!)

New Amsterdam (NBC): "Perspectives" (Once again its 10 o'clock in the PM on a Tuesday night--I'm your host Dr. New Amsterdam, you're watching Perspectives, and we're a completely generic hospital show. Now I used to be on The Blacklist, but i left that show for a show of my own, little did i know that it would be a completely generic hospital show...but that's ok because we're on after mega hit This Is Us, and we're doing just fine--If you're just joining us, its 10:03 in the PM on a Tuesday night,  you're watching Perspectives, I'm your host Dr. New Amsterdam, and we have no idea what the synopsis of the show is tonight but you can bet it'll take place at a hospital where I Dr. New Amsterdam work and make my own rules each and every week after This Is Us)

For Life (ABC): Looking back the 9 years, Marie reflects on her marriage to Aaron and struggles in the wake of his life changing around. (Because of going to prison, or because of his decision to become a lawyer???)

Hot Ones (Tru TV): Firey identical twins take on a pair of saucy drag queens in the Pepperdome. One player begins a brawl with the spit bucket. (I don't think that's as appealing as you think it to be synopsis writer!)

Project Blue Book (History): "What Lies Beneath"

Portals To Hell (Travel): Twin City Opera House

Extreme Rescue (Nat Geo): New Zealand kayaker fights to save her friend from drowning.

10:30

Miracle Workers-Dark Ages (TBS):  "A Day In Court" Al sues the clown; Prince Chauncley makes an unexpected breakthrough with his father.

HAVE A KICKASS TUESDAY ONE AND ALL!!!!!
