Hello everybody--Did you guys know that Better Things was back tonight??? I was legit surprised when i saw that in the listings tonight...I did not know that was coming back this soon--I always regarded it as a fall show. Who knew??? Also there's an all day and all night long King of Queens marathon happening on Lifetime for some reason today. Did they like just get the rights to the series or something??? Anyways this is What's On for March 5th 2020

Hulu has a new sci-fi show called DEVS premiering tonight. Created by Alex Garland (Ex Machina) the show is about a young software engineer who works for a cutting edge Silicon Valley company--after her boyfriend's apparent suicide, she investigates and realizes that all roads seem to point to her company's enigmatic CEO and "Devs" which is the company's secret development division. What the woman discovers could end up changing the world--but first she needs to survive! It stars Sonoya Mizuno, Nick Offerman, Allison Pill, and Zach Grenier from The Good Wife)
Netflix meanwhile has the 3rd season premiere of animated show Castlevania
And CBS All Access of course has a new episode of Picard on tap (Episode 7--"Nepenthe" "Picard and Soji transport to the planet of Nepenthe where they reunite with Riker and Troi (!!!!!!!) where Picard tries to help Soji make sense of her recently unlocked memories; Meanwhile Hugh and Elenor are left on the Borg Cube and face an angered Narissa"
Also Sundance NOW is premiering a new Swedish series that stars Carrie Ann Moss called "Idiomatic" that looks like a comedic mystery series about a left wing couple in their 30s forced to move into their parents neighborhood who get involved in a mystery (Shrugs)
Broadcast:

Young Sheldon (CBS): Dr. Sturgis is furious when Sheldon accuses him of plagiarism; (That's Inconceivable!!!!); Mary sets out to find a girl trophy for Missy's end of season baseball ceremony; Georgie has an awkward run in with Veronica while out on a date with Jana. (Veronica...ba dum bum ba dum--Veronica---ba dum bum ba dum----Ohhhhhhh Veronicaaaaaa)
Superstore (NBC): Its a rerun tonight! "Amy tries to make Mateo her new assistant, but after other employees complain about favoritism, she's forced to audition them to also be her new assistant" Also Jonah tries to prove to Garrett that he's still one of the guys. (Was he ever really one of the guys???)
Last Man Standing (FOX): When many worries about Kyle's passing his first college exam, she hires Vanessa, Jen, and Ryan to all secretly help tutor him; Mike learns of Ed and Chuck's various superstition rituals behind their decision making processes. (I'm guessing none of them involve human sacrifices)
Station 19 (ABC): As Ben readies the new Physician Response Team Unit for the field (PRTU???), his suspicions about Sullivan and the missing Fentenyl continue to grow; Jack and Diego try to look past their differences when they are forced to work together. (Will they be friends by episodes' end??? Only their executive producer knows for sure!!!!)

Grown-ish (Freeform): Zoey's 21st birthday celebration takes an unexpected turn when she makes a big decision regarding her future; Nog learns he's the reason why Jazz is distracted from track. (My 21st birthday consisted of me seeing the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie--i did not have an especially memorable 21st birthday)
Love Under the Rainbow (Hallmark): Your Hallmark Channel Movie of the evening is this one with "A grade school teacher unwittingly finds herself falling for a widowed architect whose daughter is a new student in her class" Starring Jodie Sweetin, David Haydn Jones, and the wonderfully named Dakota Guppy. (Hahahaha Dakota Guppy--I love it!!)
8:30

Brooklyn 9-9 (NBC): Jake and Amy work on an uncrackable case while Holy adjusts to his new beat; Hitchcock looks for the love of his life. (I feel like the love of his life would be a giant oversized hoagie, but that's just me)

Everything's Gonna Be OK (Freeform): Matilda focuses on her relationship; Nic gets a reality check at Mailta's and Genevieve's parent teacher conference; he also figures out how to get them to wake up to try new things??? The episode is called "Monarch Butterflies"
9:00
Mom (CBS): Bonnie suspects that Adam's sponsor has an ulterior motive; Christy is right in the middle when Tammy plays hard to get with Chef Rudy. (Wait i thought Tammy dumped Chef Rudy; Also what was Adam's problem again? Was he a gambling addict or something??? I know it wasn't alcohol) (Also I'd like to remind everyone again that Chef Rudy is French Stewart and that Tammy is Kristen Johnson making this an unlikely 3rd Rock From The Sun cast hook-up!)
Will and Grace (NBC): The titular duo race to save Karen when they think that she's in trouble when new suitor (whom they strongly suspect is eeevvvvillll) Joel McHale takes her to a cabin in the woods; Jack makes up a story for a snobby reporter in order to try and keep his new bar relevant after its former owner skips town. (Oh right Jack bought the drag bar that he hangs out at in last week's episode as well! Although i don't know where he got the money to buy it--did Estefan buy it for him???)
Deputy (FOX): When one of Charlie's kids from the library gets mixed up with a gang, Charlie ropes in the whole team to help save her life; Cade and Teresa struggle to deal with an unforseen situation with their foster children. (nods) (Maybe one of the foster children will be made the new sheriff???)

The Bold Type (Freeform): Kat and Adena need to work together on a scarlett project, which becomes tense when Adena learns about Kat's recent romantic relationship; Sutton earns her first solo styling gig; Jane makes a decision about her health concerning her BRACA-1 status. (I don't know what any of that means, but i'm trusting this makes sense to people who watch!)
Project Runway (Bravo): I can't seem to find an episode description for tonight's upcoming episode but it is the 13th episode of the current season! (Does that mean its also the final one as well or not?) Either way CaliCheese has you covered as she offers up her usual live blog for it should you choose to watch it.
Wife Swap (Paramount): A pagan witch and wife swaps lives with an Evangelical pastor's wife. (nods) (this'll go well i'm sure!)
Swamp People (History)
Restaurant Impossible (Food): "Love in the Bayou"
Gomer Pyle (MeTV): Gomer must care for a baby while someone he knows is on emergency leave, and to avoid being AWOL, he ends up sneaking the baby onto base which I'm sure goes over really well with Sgt. Carter. ("Pyle? Is that a baby???" "Ummm Shazaam???")
9:30
Carol's Second Act (CBS): When the interns tease Carol that her new relationship with Dr. lewis might be moving too fast, Carol tries to self sabotage it by failing to win a romantic getaway for the 2 of them (????); a woman gets a curling iron stuck in her hair before her wedding day. (This Sounds Like A Job For Carol!!!)
Indebted (NBC): Dave and Rebecca worry that their kids are gonna grow up spoiled now that they're grandparents are living with them; as if to prove them right, Deb and Stew try to play toot fairy after Asher loses his first tooth, and they naturally overplay the role; Joanne exaggerates about being an involved aunt. (This show continues to be terrible, but maybe tonight'll be the one to turn things around??????? (Rereads episode description again) Yeeeaaaah maybe not)
Green Acres (MeTV): A dreaded pest threatens the future of Hooterville's treasured corn crop. (That dreaded pest??? You guessed it--Frank Stallone!!!!)
10:00
Tommy (CBS): When a concert promoter who is accused of defrauding his customers takes hostages in a restaurant, Tommy and Cooper and Diaz must manage the situation until she can arrive on scene; 2 city council members refuse to sign Tommy's new budget proposal. (That B storyline doesn't quite sound as exciting as that A storyline) (Also this sounds exactly like a plotline from SWAT, when i thought the show was gonna be more or less Blue Bloods like but out west no?)
Law and Order Special Victims Unit (NBC): Rerun of the episode that had Aerial Winter (of Modern Family) guest starring as a young rape victim whose memory of the incident is blurred and must work with Benson to try and get pertinent details to get a lead on the perp.
A Million Little Things (ABC): Eddie's sister comes to town and causes tension with the group; Katherine speaks her mind at work; and Maggie councils Delilah to put herself out there. (shrugs) (Ohhh you Million Little Things characters always doing um A Million Little Things!) (nods)
The Sinner (USA): Ambrose urges the NYPD to investigate Jamie for a new crime; Jamie meanwhile struggles to chance his life (hopefully for the better) This is Part 5 of the show's current season!
Better Things (FX): Top Pick of the night goes to this Pamela Adlon starring show back tonight for its 4th season (Nice!) (Does air kicks!)
Cake (FXX): Not to be outdone but sister channel FXX has its own show season premiering tonight--this variety/sketch show which tonight is premiering its 2nd season with "Brodeo, and Gene Therapy" (A bro-down at a rodeo, and oversharing is caring is the episode description) (ooook)
Impractical Jokers (TRU TV): And Lastly for the night we have the season finale of this long running show (Season 8 Baby!) where "The guys pitch their whimsical tv show ideas to focus groups; then they go to the park with their daughters who all share unappealing opinions with strangers; and the loser heads to the spa for an electrifying punishment that is 2 years in the making." (The episode is titled "Its Electric" and Good for them guys for having successfully impractically joked people for 8 years now! That can't be an easy thing to keep going as long as they have!)
SO LONG AND THANKS FOR ALL THE FISH!!!!! HAVE A GOOD THURSDAY YOU GUYS!!!!
