Whoever Clara is! (seriously, who is Clara?!?!?!?) Its a pretty good show tho--you cannot beat that cast, and i kinda dig the trippy, existentialism vibes, I'm also impressed that every episode has been written by star Jason Segel and some of them have even been directed by him as well, and he must've really wanted to throw himself into something if he was gonna return to tv after 9 years of How I Met Your Mother. Anyways This Is What's On for March 23rd 2020
8:00
The Neighborhood (CBS): CBS is in rerun mode for the night so we got a rerun from October here that has Dave volunteering to help paint Cedric's house which Cedric for some reason sees as a violation of his "man-code" and things escalate from there. (For Pete's Sake Cedric, Just let the man paint your house!!!!!!)
The Voice (NBC): The Battles Premiere (I don't really know what this means either)
9-1-1 (FOX): The 118 responds to a viral stunt gone haywire; a disaster at a couple's fishing trip, and an epic first date fail; Athena investigates a woman who doesn't remember being shot in the head; Eddie must have a difficult conversation with Christopher. (Wait wait wait, a woman doesn't remember being shot in the head?!?!?!?)
American Idol (ABC): Solo Performances Continue. (There's a joke in here somewhere about "I didn't think Aiden Ehrenreich was THAT bad" but too lazy to make it honestly) (But you just did!!!)
Supernatural (The CW): A search for the one thing that may give the Winchesters an edge against God leads Sam and Dean straight to Jo's door and to a secret that may have died with Ruby (Oh please don't bring her back show!); Castiel asks Jack to the unthinkable to help the brothers in their quest against God. (What could be more unthinkable than "a quest against God???")
Antiques Roadshow (PBS): Desert Botanical Gardens 1 "Neil Armstrong signed Apollo 11 moon landing photos; a Tongan war club made around 1800; and some 1993 era Magic the Gathering cards" (those cannot possibly be that rare can they???)
Cosmos-Possible Worlds (Nat Geo): "Cosmic Connectome" An abandoned orphan's dream opens the way to understanding the architecture of thought. ("In the dreams of a young girl's eye???")

8:30
Bob Hearts Abishola (CBS): Rerun of their Valentine's Day episode which was cute-ish.
9:00
All Rise (CBS): Rerun from January that had Judge Lola going to D.C. to try and help her husband (wait she's married?!?!?!?) with a very serious job inquiry for the federal government, while Mark bonds with the defense attorney he hired to represent his dad in a murder trial (Tony Dennison of Major Crimes was a high roller in Vegas who was accused of murder and his son who happens to be a prosecutor with L.A. county was kind of aghast at this but still tried to help him out with a high priced attorney who isn't Bull---but that would've been a great opportunity for a cross-over)
Prodigal Son (FOX): A famous blogger's husband is mysteriously stabbed just days after their new baby is born; Bright can't shake his paranoia that there's more to Eve than meets the eye; and Ainsley uncovers a secret that Eve has been keeping from them all. (And we the audience found out what Eve's secret was at the tail end of last week's episode and its either a real doozy, or a real narrative convenience--depending on how you look at it!)
Roswell New Mexico (The CW): Liz if forced to put her latest experiment on hold after Rosa begins to struggle with her new life in Roswell; Reluctant to face the truth about his mother's past, Michael turns his attention to Maria who is dealing with her own family crisis. (Nods) (ROSWELL THAT ENDS WELL?!?!?!?)
Antiques Roadshow (PBS): Rerun from May of 18 that has a Belle Epoque diamond necklace circa 1915, 1952, 1954 baseball cards; and a Cheyenne cradleboard made around 1895.
Better Call Saul (AMC): Kim tries to pump the breaks on Jimmy's latest scheme, but it may be too late to stop Saul Goodman; Mike turns the heat up on Lalo; Nacho attempts to enlist support from above. (Episode is titled "Wexler vs. Goodman" Oh i get it!)
The Plot Against America (HBO): Lindbergh's increasingly popular campaign captures some in the Levin family, as well as Bengelsdorf; Alim must decide between seeing a local real estate magnate or risking an open fight with the fascist forces he sees spreading across the word. (Are those the only two choices?!?!?!? Well how bad is this local real estate magnate exactly???)
Cosmos-Possible Worlds (Nat Geo): "Man Of A Trillion Worlds" A young Carl Sagan's career is forged by the conflict of his mentors. (Oooook!)
American Pickers (History): "Lil' Riches" (Or does that say "Lil' Rickles????" I honestly can't read my writing there) (Also there was no episode description tonight, just a title)
Beyond the Unknown (Travel): A centuries long curse is connected to the Salem Witch trial, a mysterious sighting that spread rumors of visitors from outer space, and a haunted hotel that inspired a certain Stephen King novel. (Carrie???)
Gomer Pyle (MeTV): Gomer gets assigned guard duty at a gate and refuses to let Sgt. Carter pass by. (This may be the most Gomer Pyle plot synopsis that has ever Gomer Pyled)
9:30
Green Acres (MeTV): Oliver insists on a better weather report! (There's Got To Be A New Tomorrow!)
10:00
Bull (CBS): And a rerun of an episode that has Bull defending a woman with an aggressive reputation of murdering her husband, but the thing is the woman was blackout drunk at the time and does not remember what if anything happened. Can Bull figure it out??? (I'd assume so or my name's not CBS! CBS! CBS!)
Manifest (NBC): As Zeke's condition worsens, and the clock ticks towards the death date, he must confront his past while Saanvi tries to give him a future; a pair of connected callings leads Ben and TJ to a surprising loved one; and Michaela faces a moral dilemma. ("When I'm Calllling Youuuuuu-oooooh-ooooohhh-oooohhhh")
The Good Doctor (ABC): The city of San Jose is rocked by a massive earthquake that puts the staff of St. Bonaventure on high alert as they race to assess the damage. (This is actually Part 1 of the show's 2 part season finale)
Breeders (FX): Paul and Ally are thrilled that Sprout-the family gerbil-has finally died but explaining loss to Luke and Ava is more difficult then they thought it would be; as grief manifests (hey!) itself in mysterious ways and throws the family off course. (MANIFESTS IS THE OTHER SHOW!)
P.O.V. (PBS): "The Rescue List"---2 children recover from enslavement to fishermen in a rehab shelter in Ghana. (huh that actually did say fishermen--i thought that was a mistake!)
Dispatches From Elsewhere (AMC): Top Pick Tonight goes to this what-its drama (dramedy?) that tonight features our various intrepid characters finding out about the mystery of Clara's disappearance (Who Is Clara?!?!?): the game begins to have a deeper impact on the team members lives in the real world, and fresh clues take the game in a whole new direction. (The episode's title "Clara") (WHO"S CLARA?!?!?!?)
My Brilliant Friend (HBO): A photograph of Lila on her wedding day is exhibited at a shop in the center of town which triggers admiration and gossip throughout. (This sounds like it could be the plot synopsis to an episode of Green Acres honestly)
COPS (Paramount): After an evening car chase ends in a front lawn, police hunt for clues to find the truth; a frustrated woman attempts to talk some sense with a guy who won't face reality; a cop has a heart to heart with a veteran who is down on his luck. (COPS IS FILMED IN FRONT OF A LIVE STUDIO AUDIENCE!)
Drain the Sunken Pirate City (Nat Geo): Port Royal is torn apart in June of 1692 bu quakes and tsunamis. (makes sense to me)
Beyond the Unknown (Travel): Again??? A gruesome secret beneath a bucolic Colorado park; the remains of a sinister beast that once stalked the woods of Maine; and a mystical person may have been murdered. (A mystical person????)
11:00
Briarpatch (USA): The Senator returns to town; Allegra and Singe investigate someone new; and the Colders have a party. (The episode is titled "Butterscotch") (Also consider this your weekly reminder that the show is pretty good and not worthy of being buried by USA without any promotion or fanfare)
Midnight
Carter (WGN): Ditto this one which tonight features Bishop turning 150 (wow!) and Harley trying to make sure that Bishop lives to see 151. (The episode is titled "Harley Takes A Bow") (nods)
THAT"S IT FOR ME FOR TONIGHT--HAVE A GREAT START OF THE WORKWEEK EVEN IF THAT WORKWEEK IS STUCK AT HOME! (REMEMBER HOW GREAT IT USED TO SEEM TO BE STUCK AT HOME??? YEAH NOT SO MUCH NOW RIGHT???)
