Totally Tunes: Screw This, I'm Gonna Get Happy

This world sucks. No, but seriously. I mean, have you seen the state of the world right now? Wildly contagious and very dangerous diseases, inept politicians, rampant crime, hunger, poverty, discrimination, you name it and Earth has it. It's no bueno. But you know what Earth also has? Good shit. Sunsets, puppies and kittens, kids who stare in awe at a bubble, silly jokes, you name it. So, at least for today, and for the duration of this article, we're gonna bring in HAPPINESS.

Thing is, I don't know how to convey happiness through music? I mean, there are songs about happiness, there are bouncy songs, and there are weird tunes that make individual people happy. But I'll do my best and add some videos that I think anyone can play and feel joyous for at least a few minutes.

I think the happiness on this one depends on how much you tolerate the Minions... but it says "Happy" right there on the title!

Sometimes you just remind someone of the babe, the babe with the power...

Or life can be a happy song, when there's someone by your side to sing along!

Some good ol' booty shaking can also release endorphines and, thus, make you happy...

Maybe a relatively new song can help cheer you up in these trying times?

This is one that I particularly enjoy playing when I'm sad, and even though the lyrics aren't exactly a chirpy little thing, the melody picks me up aplenty.
