Jeopardy! recap for Mon., Mar. 2

Let's meet today's contestants:

- Mandy, a restaurant consultant from California,  got stuck in the Holland Tunnel;
- Bruce, a software engineer from California, consumes a lot of calories and works them off; and
- Aaron, a law student from Michigan, doesn't want to be told he "done messed up, AA-ron!". Aaron entered the game as a two-day champ with winnings of $41,801.

Bruce broke even on the three DDs he found and otherwise dominated DJ, leading into FJ with $18,800 vs. $6,200 for both champ Aaron and Mandy.

DD1, $400 - WORDS FROM THE MAP - Referencing famous falls, a 1912 book complains that a this "of nonsense is continually roaring from the press" (Bruce lost $2,400 on a true DD.)

DD2, $2,000 - MUSIC - A trip to Cannes on the Mediterranean at age 8 helped influence Paris boy Claude Debussy to compose this 1905 orchestral work (Bruce lost $3,000 from his score of $9,600 vs. $3,400 for Aaron.)

DD3 - $1,200 - MOON ME - This nickname is given to the full moon occurring nearest to the time of the autumnal equinox (Bruce won $5,000 from his total of $7,800 vs. $3,400 for Aaron.)

FJ - FROM THE DESK OF THE POPE - A 1919 letter quotes Jesus, "Go into the whole world and preach the gospel" & notes the vigilance, energy & hardships of these workers

Everyone was incorrect on FJ, with Bruce dropping $5,555 to win with $13,245. For the record, Mandy bet $0 to get second as Aaron lost everything.

Pop culture problems: Depressingly, no one knew the cranky TV boss of Mary Tyler Moore who got his own show is Lou Grant. Also, being given the actors who played them didn't lead the contestants to X-Men characters Beast and Jean Grey.

Correct Qs:
DD1 - What is Niagara?
DD2 - What is "La Mer"?
DD3 - What is harvest moon?
FJ - What are missionaries?
