What's On Tonight (Wednesday): Chicago docs are too busy for One Chicago

Chicago Med (via Giphy)
Welcome one and all! It took 98 episodes, but Chicago Med is finally a WOT Top Pick! That's right, this is its first time. Tonight, there is a partial One Chicago story with a Fire and P.D. crossover, but Med sits it out. I guess the doctors don't need a stake in the opoid crisis. Instead, regular health crises-life goes on as usual at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center, populated by some very good looking doctors, nurses, and administrators. It's no County General, but it'll do. Elsewhere, Sophia Lillis heads a new series, Nova explores why we need sleep, the Acosta kids go to Mexico, Amy Hoggart gets personal, Shark Tank gets a retrospective, and a dignitary visits The Orphanage. Everything is awesome, here's what's on television for tonight, Wednesday, February 26!

STREAMING / EARLY PRIMETIME

I Am Not Okay with This (Netflix, 3 a.m.): SERIES PREMIERE. Continuing its line of The End of the F***ing World author Charles Forman's comic adaptations, Netflix's I Am Not Okay with This stars Sophia Lillis, a rising star who you should remember from the It films, Sharp Objects, and the recent Nancy Drew flick. She plays Syd, a teen with lots of angst, but she is also a superpowered teen with angst. It alum Wyatt Oleff also stars.✔️

Jeopardy! ๐Ÿ’ฒ (Syndicated, check your local listings): I love MacKenzie. She isn't an all-knowing player that will steamroll the competition, but she pulls it together when needed and is great at wagers. Can she cross the $200,000 mark? We will find out.

The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez (Netflix, 3 a.m.): SERIES PREMIERE. Filmmaker Brian Knappenberger investigates the tragic death of an 8-year-old California boy who endured horrific abuse by his mother and her boyfriend, along with the fractured and complex systems that failed to protect him.

The Masked Singer (Fox, 8 p.m.): Comedian Gabriel Iglesias joins as a guest panelist.

Riverdale (The CW, 8 p.m.): This episode is called "How to Get Away with Murder" but isn't a crossover? Rude! When a night in the woods goes horribly awry, Betty, Archie, and Veronica are forced to confront what one of them may be capable of.

Survivor (CBS, 8 p.m.): New-school players attempt to take control against the old-school players in an effort to change up the game. Chaos ensues on Edge of Extinction when an opportunity presents itself.

20/20 (ABC, 10 p.m.): This special edition is a look back at great moments in Shark Tank history as well as interviews with some of the sharks.

68 Whiskey (Paramount Network, 10 p.m.): I got caught up on this show last week, and the episode two weeks ago was a spectacular episode about a Taliban attack and the race to find morphine. The show is still weighed down by a wrestling/gambling story that hasn't delivered, and some relationship drama that is unevenly distributed episode to episode. This week, a visiting dignitary arrives on base, and Davis seeks a new side hustle as pressure from home (his parents are deep in debt) becomes unbearable. Durkin and Sasquatch have a fight about their future... does he know about Roback?

Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens (Comedy Central, 10:30 p.m.): After Nora suffers a vaginal injury, she's tapped by a DJ to record her chronic queefing for his new track. I'm loling at the synopsis alone.✔️

It's Personal with Amy Hoggart (truTV, 10 p.m.): SERIES PREMIERE. Amy Hoggart, correspondent for Full Frontal with Samantaha Bee, now has a docu-series as she tries to help people with "people's everyday issues such as shame, revenge, anxiety, grief, and ... Miami." So kinda like Nathan for You but personal problems? In the first episode, Laura, a humor-free executive, seeks Amy's guidance on being funny in the workplace. Amy goes under cover as a man to prove women are funny. Also "a chipmunk eats a snake."✔️
