8:00

The Neighborhood (CBS): Dave's patience is tested when Gemma's freeloading sister shows up at their doorstep unexpectedly with plans for an extended stay; Cedric grows frustrated that Malcolm is still living at home. (Dave is of course normally the one on the show whose irritating Cedric so for him to be irritated by someone is of course a real switcharoo)

America's Got Talent (NBC): Returning to the schedule for a brief winter season is this talent show normally seen in the summer of course--tonight we get 10 of the most memorable acts from around the globe performing for the judges.7 of whom will advanced to the next round next week

American Experience (PBS): Season 32 (!!!) kicks off with a two hour documentary about the life and times of one Joseph McCarthy--senator from Wisconsin and very vociferous fighter of communism much to his detriment. (Cause you know he went around accusing everyone of being one including many, many, many people who weren't but what chu gonna do about it? it was the 50s)

Gomer Pyle (MeTV): He mans a Marine recruiting booth and signs up a fugitive bank robber. (D'oh)

MANIFEST (NBC): Season Two kicks things off right where they left off with the whole group discovering that they only have a year to live before collapsing into dust like the guy they saw do just that in the season 1 finale. "As the family reels in the aftermath of a devastating shooting, its hit with a frightening new calling sending Ben on a mission to locate 2 Flight 828 passengers who have gone missing; Meanwhile Grace is still dealing with her pregnancy." (Meanwhile Grace is still dealing with her pregnancy??? Who the heck is Grace?!?!?!?)

Cops (Paramount): Season 32 of this show continues with "officiers deal with a delirious man who was found naked on the neighbor's porch, a driver tries to ditch cops on foot but mistankenly leaves his hoes behind, an argumentative couple has trouble moving on from a tragic event."
