Jeopardy! recap for Fri., Jan. 31

Let's meet today's contestants:

- Audrey, a professional taste tester from California, hosts an Oakland movie theater trivia contest;
- Matthew, a client services coordinator from Connecticut, takes pottery classes; and
- Michelle, a managing director from Delaware, has a blog about Brooklyn "stoop books". Michelle entered the game as a one-day champ with winnings of $17,900.

Rough game in which a miss by Audrey on DD2 and a correct response by champ Michelle on DD3 added up to a runaway at $10,200 vs. $3,200 for Matthew. Audrey finished in the red at -$2,600.

DD1, $600 - @ - This waterway extends 51 miles from Limón Bay to a second bay whose name would kinda give it away (Matthew lost $2,800 on a true DD.)

DD2, $1,200 - HISTORIC PLEAS - Chief Joseph met Teddy Roosevelt & pleaded with him to allow this tribe to return to its ancestral home (Audrey, whose request to change her wager after seeing the clue was denied by Alex, lost $4,000 from her total of $5,800.)

DD3, $1,600 - SPECIES NAMES - Pandalas Borealis, the deepwater prawn, is known as this directional shrimp (Michelle won $2,200 from her score of $7,200 vs. $1,200 for Matthew.)

FJ - FRENCH TOWNS - Legend says local farm wife Marie Harel & a priest from Brie created the famous product of this Normandy village

Only Michelle was correct on FJ, adding $2,022 to win with $12,222 for a two-day total of $30,122.

Triple Stumper of the day: Despite being in one of TV's most popular shows since 2003 for around 400 episodes, no one knew the star of NCIS is Mark Harmon.

Shameless shilling: Lots of plugs for Netflix, with clues about shows "3%", "Orange Is the New Black" and "Ozark", and the ones for the latter two programs were about awards they won.

Correct Qs:
DD1 - What is the Panama Canal?
DD2 - Who are the Nez Perce?
DD3 - What is the northern shrimp?
FJ - What is Camembert?
