What's On Tonight (Thursday): It's A Perfect Harmony Thanksgiving! (There will be singing!)

Hello one and all--here is What's On for November 21, 2019

8:00

Young Sheldon (CBS): The University makes George Sr. a lucrative job offer in hopes or recruiting Sheldon. Georgie gets a job working for Meemaw's new boyfriend (Craig T Nelson), Mary is determined to rid her home of greed. (I know Mary works for the church and all but she is aware that greed isn't like a thing that you can just like throw away or cleanse the house of yes?)

Superstore (NBC): As part of the new corporate initiative that Dina is spearheading, the employees have to rush items directly to shoppers' cars; Amy's brother Eric visits and Amy thinks she sees a spark with Mateo, Garrett is impressed by a customer's high tech purchase. (Wait, wait, wait "have to rush items directly to shoppers' cars?!?!?!?" Cloud 9's not a drive-thru! Maybe they should open a drive-thru window???)

Grey's Anatomy (ABC): Jo becomes a safe haven volunteer and gets a call that a baby has been dropped off at Station 19 (that's still on the air right?); Meredith moves forward with her life after facing the medical board; Jackson takes a big step in his budding romance with Vic. (Who the heck is Vic??? I thought he was dating Maggie!!! I have not seen a single episode this season so i'm clearly behind)

Thursday Night Football (FOX): Indianapolis Colts Vs. Houston Texans.

Supernatural (The CW): Sam and Dean receive a visit from an old friend; Castiel investigates a local teenager's disappearance. (That old friend??? You guessed it...Frank Stallone!!!) (Ok i'll try to cut these Frank Stallone jokes down to one a night, but its tough I tells ya!)

Everyday Is Christmas (Lifetime): A workaholic embraces Christmas when her past , present, and future collide. Starring Tony Braxton! (Unbreak My Time Continuum--Say My Life Will Follow A Linear Pathway....Un-Cry These Tears...) (that one still works because its chronologically backwards you see!)

8:30

The Unicorn (CBS): Wade and the girls tackle hosting a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for friends and extended family; Ben attempts to make a fried turkey for the first time. (ooh!!! i've never had fried turkey before---i'm assuming its a lot like fried chicken tho???)

Perfect Harmony (NBC): Jax convinces Arthur to join the choir's progressive Thanksgiving dinner, and also snoops in chior members' homes to find a missing item.  (I'm somewhat confused by this sentence--which is why its Top Pick tonight!); Meanwhile Adams invites her handsome contractor to dinner as a set up for Ginny, but he has something else in mind.

9:00

Mom (CBS): Christy regrets fleeing the scene after hitting a parked car; Bonnie's therapist offers tools for her to help her better communicate with Adam. (Is there gonna be some big reveal about who owns the parked car or something, cause otherwise we're talking about a plotline that just has Christy feeling guilty over something rather trivial--well trivial compared to some of the other things she's done in the past)

The Good Place (NBC): In an attempt to plan for a better future (today); Chidi considers his past. (The episode is titled "The Answer") (That answer? You guessed it...Damnit Matthew!!!! Everyday's a struggle!)

A Million Little Pieces (ABC): Rome helps PJ thru a personal case; Gary and Maggie's relationship takes a turn; Delilah, Eddie, and Katherine make tough decisions that will affect their families. (That tough decision??? Where to eat dinner---I know, believe me, I've been there! A decision like that can affect not just your night, but the rest of your life!)

Legacies (The CW): Hope and Lizzie fear they will be targeted by a truth seeking monster that arrives in Mystic Falls; During Communication Day, Freya receives a visit from one of the Salvatore students. (But not one of the actual Salvatores cause that would cost considerable $$$ to get the actors to reprise their roles--or not considering how little either brother has worked since the mother show went off the air right???)

Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner Salute Sid Caesar (PBS): Again its a rebroadcast of a 90 minute special that originally aired last May, but its a good one! Definitely recommended.

American Pickers (History): Its game on for Mike and Frank when they score an 80's inspired arcade of jackpot picks and a super rare horse racing game that Mike bets is a winner.  (Nice!!!!)

Naked and Afraid (Discovery): A firefighter and a single mom confront bloodthirsty insects in the Malaysian rain forest; Survivalists are surrounded by armadillos and wild boars in the Texas countryside, a team faces apex predators in Tennessee's Great Smoky Mountains. (Yikes!!!)

9:30

Carol's Second Act (CBS): Carol's dear friend Phyllis is admitted to the hospital; Carol jealously witnesses what life could've been life had she retired; Daniel takes credit for Caleb's excellent diagnosis and is bothered when Caleb doesn't seem to even mind. (That is suspicious actually! Also I guarantee that Carol would not see her daughter nearly as much if she did not work in the hospital so hopefully someone will remind Carol of that tonight)

Will and Grace (NBC): In the aftermath of Will and McCoy's break-up, Grace and Jack hire the Grief Panda to help Will process his pain (Awww); Grace believes that she should fire Karen in order to set Karen free so that she'll be able to focus all her time on the baseball team she now owns and manages. (Yeah i know, the writers were clearly reaching for things to have Karen do--i mean sure why not have Karen buy a baseball team---really? this is the best you could do for season 11 here???)

Green Acres (MeTV): Lisa excitedly plans a long awaited wedding for Ralph and Hank Kimbell. (Sweet!!!) (I'm running outta adjectives here)

10:00

Evil (CBS): When David recognizes one of the sigils on his father Leon's artwork, he and Kristen journey to a remote art commune to investigate its meaning and how its related to David's family.  (This actually sounds like something out of Lodge 49--of course if this was Lodge 49, it'd be a lottt more light-hearted i'm guessing than this show will be) (PS--let this be my latest reminder to all of you that Lodge 49 was a really enjoyable show!)

Law and Order Special Victims Unit (NBC): A fellow detective asks SVU for help when he suspects his two daughters are being groomed by a serial predator; Kat disobeys the captain's orders and must answer for that. (Maybe the serial predator is just Michael Emmerson creepily crossing over from timeslot competitor Evil??? "Hey fans of SVU--come on over to CBS and watch me be creepy right now at this exact time but on a different channel!!" I'm picturing Robert Blake in Lost Highway here basically--you know the famous scene where he says to Bill Pullman "I'm in your house right now... call me" and he pulls out a cell phone and then Bill Pullamn takes the phone and calls his house, and Blake answers the phone but is also still standing right in front of him "I told you I was in your house") (I love that scene--creepy as hell!)

How To Get Away With Murder (ABC): On graduation eve, Oliver gifts Connor, Michaela, and Asher with something unexpected at the dean's cocktail party; Annalist learns disturbing news; Michaela receives a surprise phone call; and the FBI's informant is revealed. (Its Gabriel Maddox isn't it---i mean unless its Laurel since she's been MIA all season long, altho i would love it if the show could pull off a surprise reveal like something around the idea of a character who had previously been killed off not actually being dead)

Mr. In-Between (FX): In the season finale of this very enjoyable but super low key FX comedy import from New Zealand "One lives but it is unknown if anybody really dies" (????)  The episode is called "There Rust, and Let Me Die" (again ?????)

Carbonaro Effect (Tru TV): Michael unpacks an item at an antique shop with a message from beyond; Michael works a fundraiser when a painting raises not just money but the body of a nun. (Hmmm, so Michael found the Ghostbusters 2 painting then???)

The Holzer Files (Travel): Ocean Born Mary House in Henniker New Hampshire is explored.

Jingle Bell (Lifetime): A songwriter runs into an old flame (Do these movies have any other plot???)  when she returns to her hometown to help with putting on a Christmas Eve Pageant. With Tatayana Ali, Tempest Bledsoe, and Loretta Devine

THAT"S IT FOR ME FOR TONIGHT---HAVE A BLESSED THURSDAY (Yeah i know that doesn't really sound like me either) HAVE A WICKED NICE THURSDAY (closer, but still not quite me) HAVE A GROUCHY THURSDAY (well now you're just being silly) HAVE A RUBBER DUCKY THURSDAY (I don't know what you're doing here Matthew but you should probably stop about now)
