Cowabunga, dude! The top pick tonight is the season finale of the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, wrapping up its freshman year. I can't tell you much about the show. I tried to watch the show because I loved the previous incarnation of the title, but this one was too... out there. It adds a mystical/supernatural element for goodness sakes!. Elsewhere, there are more Christmas romances, Chip Foose is back, sharks, and plenty of anime. So holy boob tube, Batman, here's what's on television for tonight, Saturday, November 16!

Overhaulin' (MotorTrend.com, 3 a.m.): PREMIERE. It lives again! This show about auto designer Chip Foose and his ace mechanics and designers turning mediocre autos into custom cars for deserving folks debuted on TLC back in 2004 and ran for five seasons. It returned on Discovery's Velocity channel for three seasons beginning in 2012. After a four years away, the show returns still under Discovery's umbrella (MotorTrend is a rebranded Velocity) and premieres online.✔️

Doctor Who 📺 (Retro TV, 6 p.m.): In the serial, set on the planet Inter Minor, the alien time traveller the Third Doctor (Jon Pertwee) and his travelling companion Jo Grant (Katy Manning) are trapped inside a miniscope, a device used by the showman Vorg (Leslie Dwyer) to shrink life forms and put them on display for entertainment.

Henry Danger (Nickelodeon, 8 p.m.): Captain Man and Kid Danger guard Swellview's newest attraction, the EnvyGram Wall.. and then Captain Man destroys it.

Little 🎥 (HBO, 8 p.m.): In this comedy with performers that deserved a better script, mean boss Regina King is transformed into her younger self, Marsai Martin. Her assistant, Issa Rae has to manage the change in appearance.✔️

My Sister's Deadly Secret 🎥 (Lifetime Movie Network, 8 p.m.): When Sharon finally tracks down her estranged sister, Raven, she's elated to be back together until she begins to suspect that Raven isn't her sister at all. But then it's Christmas! Wait, wrong network.

Svengoolie: The Gorgon 🎥 (MeTV, 8 p.m.): In the early twentieth century, a Gorgon takes human form and terrorizes a small European village by turning its citizens to stone. This average British horror pic stars Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing.

With the dark armor nearly complete, the Turtles decide to get serious and embrace their ninja heritage. I tried to embrace this show, but the animation and storytelling was not my cup of tea.✔️
