DD1, $600 - THE OLD WEST - This Arizona site that entered Old West legend in 1881 had "livery and feed stables" in its full name (Alex won $1,500 from her score of $2,800.)

DD2, $2,000 - WOMEN OF SCIENCE - Vera Rubin confirmed the existence of this component of the universe, originally dubbed "missing mass" (Alex added $5,000 to her leading score of $8,100 vs. $5,000 for Gabrielle.)

FJ - CLASSIC BRITISH NOVELS - The title character of this novel says of his home, "The wind breathes cold through the broken battlements and casements"

Everyone was incorrect on FJ. Alex dropped $901 to win with $13,399 for a two-day total of $26,200.

Triple Stumper of the day: For a top-row clue in the Kennedys category, no one knew the "lion of the Senate", Ted Kennedy.

Pedantry corner: In the WWE category, Alex pronounced the name of 80s wrestler Sika as "Sick-a", but it's actually "Seek-a".

DD2 - What is dark matter?
DD3 - What is the Special Olympics?
FJ - What is "Dracula"?
