Hello All Once Again....Its time to take a looksee at what's on for the telly for Tuesday October 8th 2019.

8:00

NCIS (CBS): After the body of a Marine lieutenant is found hidden under and 18 wheeler, the team must track the vehicle's previous to pinpoint where the crime scene occurred. Sloane encourages the team to sit down and talk about Ziva's recent surprise appearance. (What's to talk about? A woman we all thought was dead turned out not to be! Case Closed--Now who wants a microwaved burrito? Anyone Burrito? Palmer--You look like someone who could eat! Ohh i don't wanna make a mess in Jackie's office here...Agent Gibbs you need to sit down and deal with your emotions!!!)

The Voice (NBC): Blind Auditions Part 6! (ooh--that's the same part as Leonard!) (LEONARD!!!!!!)

The Resident (FOX): When a police officer brings in an injured criminal, the staff must keep him alive; Nick gets roped into a surgical rotation with Cash that leaves her questioning the way he operates. Conrad makes a shocking discovery about the hospital. (How much left is there for Conrad to be horrified by about the way the hospital is run at this point honestly?) (Also MORRIS CHESTNUT!!!!!) (He's on the show now which means I gotta start watching them on demand at some point)

The Conners (ABC): Harris is forced to confront Darlene about her lifestyle; Jackie tries to avoid her own problems yet again; Becky is overwhelmed by the costs of raising a baby. (I know, i know Hashtag Boycot ABC) (Which guy do you think Darlene is gonna choose btw???)

The Flash (THE CW): Season Six kicks off with "While Barry and Iris try to deal with the loss of their daughter Nora, the team faces what may be its greatest threat yet; Killer Frost meanwhile has a brush with death that could end up changing her relationship with Caitlin."  (Is Nora still a part of the show's cast??? I mean she's not actually dead, she's just back in the future right???) (Anyways Brewfan--Release The Gifs!!!!)

Finding Your Roots (PBS): This Dr. Henry Louis Gates hosted genealogy show returns for a new season with tonight's guests including cinematic scions Anjelica Huston, Isabella Rosselini, and Mia Farrow whom all trace their family histories thru the generations. (nods)

Falling For You (Hallmark): Your Hallmark Channel Movie of the Night is this one where "A radio station manager meets her match when she asks a salesman to enter a bachelor bake off" (Wait, why is she entering a bachelor bake off again??? Does it have to do with her job at the radio station??? So many questions here Hallmark Channel!)

8:30

Bless This Mess (ABC): The ladies head to Omaha for their annual exams but the trip goes off the rails; Kay is jealous of Beau's new dating profile; and Mike, Rudy, and Beau all get stuck up a tree. (Up A Tree?!?!?!? Is this gonna be like that time that Larry and Balki got stuck on a chandelier because the ladder got kicked out from under them in a very late era episode of Perfect Strangers???)

9:00

FBI (CBS): After a female Presidential candidate is targeted with a car bomb, OA and Maggie must find the perp before they try again; The case leads them to wonder if she is being targeted for her political aspirations or something more personal. (What could be more personal than running for President???)

This Is Us (NBC): Randall is confronted with a tough choice; Kate and Toby adjust to their new home; Miguel and Jack's friendship solidifies in the past. (I feels like you could take any of the people mentioned in this synopsis here, mix and match them with the actions and you'd still more or less end up with the exact same show) (Kate and Jack are confronted with a tough choice; Miguel adjusts to his new home;  Randall and Toby's friendship solidifes in the past---Don't tell me these plotlines wouldn't make just as much sense!)

Empire (FOX): Lucious' plan to escape from the Feds finally comes to a head; Cookie finds herself in a dangerous situation with Damon; Andre is haunted by a ghost from his past that he can't shake; and Tiana receives some backlash over an ill advised social media post. (I'd bet anything that the ghost from Andre's past is his dead wife from the show's first 2 seasons--i mean how could it not be???)

Mixed-Ish (ABC): After a teacher tells Rainbow to make sure her hair is neat for picture day, she becomes self conscious and begins a complicated relationship with her har which she never had to think about before. Johan and Santamonica struggle with their own hair. (Wait, Santamonica is the younger sister's name?!?!?!?)

Batwoman (THE CW): Rerun of Sunday night's pilot gets the post Flash treatment for tonight in hopes of getting some people who might not have seen it hooked on it. (well why not? The Flash is still the network's highest rated show by like a lot)

Retro Report (PBS): Tonight's topics include crime evidence pulled from DNA websites; Robots, Thaildomide; Obsessive Gamers; and Andy Borowitz on no news being good news. (So it looks like PBS now officially has their own primetime newsmagazine...which is nice I guess)

Curse of Oak Island (History): A sneak preview of the upcoming season 7, plus a look back at highlights of the show's first 6 seasons. (Somehow this is two hours long!)

Chopped (Food): Donuts, Donuts, Donuts, as the chefs must make a bunch of baked goods out of donuts or something. (Or maybe they have to make donuts out of the random ingredients in their baskets?--I'm not really sure as the only thing the synopsis said was Donuts, Donuts, Donuts)

Life Below Zero (Nat Geo): To survive the dark winter, Alaskans must be relentless in their pursuit of critical resources. (Critical resources like whether or not to take their DVD of "Chairman of the Board" I'd bet) (well that's one of my critical resources at least!)

Bering Sea Gold (Discovery): Vernon and the crew are stranded in the Yukon, Shawn's son is his good luck charm, and Ken suffers a mechanical setback while a rookie has to dive underwater for Emily. (No i don't know who any of these people are either)

9:30

Black-ish (ABC):When Bow learns that Diane and Ruby don't believe in feminism, she brings Diane to her feminist group meeting; Junior and Jack help Dre after he realizes he is out of touch with modern day feminism. (The episode is titled "Feminisn't")  (Also i swear this feels like it could've been an episode of The Cosby Show in like 1990)

Green Acres (MeTV): Lisa decides to become a carpenter so that she can be a bigger help on the farm in this 4th season episode! ("If i were a carpenter....")

10:00

NCIS New Orleans (CBS): Pride travels to NYC after new evidence is linked to a 20 year old case from his past. (Scott Bakula In The Big Apple?!?!?!? Man i wish i knew he was coming to town, i'd have welcomed him with open arms and a bunch of Quantum Leap DVD's for him to sign!!!! God did 10 year old me love that show!!!!)

New Amsterdam (NBC): max takes a chance on a new assistant and goes toe to toe with the board on a new plan; Iggy struggles to figure out what is causing a unit wide illness; and Kapoor receives some shocking news. (Is the shocking news in any way related to what's causing the unit wide illness or Max's idea for a new plan??? Oh New Amsterdam--You've become much too much)

Emergence (ABC): A mysterious illness takes hold of Piper; Jo and Benny investigate a powerful tech mogul; Jo considers help from an unknown source; and Alex works to decipher a radio frequency code from Piper's plane crash. (Try saying that five times fast---Piper's Plane Crash, Piper's Plane Crash, Piper's Plane Crash, see it can't be done!)

Frontline (PBS): "On the President's Orders" Military police and an ordinary family from the slums provide varying points of view on Rodrigo Duterte's campaign against drug dealers and addicts in the Philippines. (PBS? PBS? PBS?)

Greenleaf (OWN): The synopsis only said the episode's title which is "The Stranger" (shrug emoji)

Most Terrifying Places (Travel): A menacing medieval castle, a gilded opera house that has been turned into a makeshift morgue; A terrifying train car straight out of a nightmare. (nods--Nightmare Train--got it)

Finding Escobar's Millions (Discovery): Former DEA agents get a break to open a mysterious concrete box found on a secret narco airship and then dig for millions at a remote safehouse frequented by Escobar. (I swear this sounds more and more like a gameshow every passing week--Win Escobar's Millions!!!) (No whammy, No whammy, No whammy, No whammy, STOP!) (Stop on a narco sub!!!)

WELP THAT'S ALL I GOT FOR THE NIGHT! DON'T FORGET TO TIP YOUR WAITSTAFF!!!!
