Introducing today's contestants:

- Erin, a substitute teacher from Virginia, liked living in India;
- Kris, a customer service representative from Ontario, is a platelet donor; and
- Jaime, a test prep instructor from New York, studied theater in London. Jamie is a one-day champ with winnings of $9,999.

Kris got on a hot roll in DJ, expanded his lead on DD3 and took a runaway into FJ with $27,600 vs. $8,600 for Jamie and $8,000 for Erin.

DD1, $800 - LET'S TALK ABOUT FLIGHT CLUB- The U.S. Army's Sikorsky UH-60 is called this; 2 of them were at the center of a notorious incident in Mogadishu in 1993 (Jamie won $1,600 from her leading total of $3,600.)

DD2, $800 - ANCIENT ROME FICTION - "The Gladiator" & "Rebellion" are the subtitles of Ben Kane's books about his man who led a slave army against Rome (Erin added $2,000 to her third-place score of $3,600.)

DD3, $1,600 - ANIMAL COMMUNITY - Konrad Lorenz found that newly hatched ducklings followed him due to the "i" process, as if he were their parent (Kris won $5,000 from his leading score of $17,400.)

FJ - BRITISH HISTORY - In 2018 Parliament Square got its first statue of a woman, Millicent Fawcett, a founding member of the London Society for Women's this

Everyone was ruled to be correct on FJ, despite two players adding a letter that seemingly would change the pronunciation. Kris added $10,000 to win with $37,600.

Triple Stumpers of the day: No one knew the Yiddish word for a clumsy person is a klutz, or could identify the type of spider in a photo as a tarantula.

Correct Qs:
DD1 - What is Black Hawk?
DD2 - Who was Spartacus?
DD3 - What is imprinting?
FJ - What is suffrage? (Kris and Jamie both wrote "sufferage", a misspelling which Alex seemed to take glee in pointing out.)
