8:00
Lipsynch To The Resuce (CBS): This confusingly titled hour long special/filler material has various "celebs" lip-synching and people can apparently vote on their favorite. If this does well, you can bet your bottom dollar that this'll end up being a returning thing so lets all cross our fingers that it does poorly!
American Ninja Warrior (NBC): Las Vegas Nationals Finals Night 3 (because they need 3 nights of two hour "finals" episodes in order to determine who's gonna be the next American Ninja Warrior here???)
So You Think You Can Dance (FOX): The TOP FOUR performers perform and two are eliminated. (Only two?!?!?!?)
Bachelor In Paradise (ABC): John Paul Jones makes special arrangements for prom; Matt feels torn between Sydney and Bri; Demi works to get past her insecurities. (John Paul Jones?!?!?!?!?)
Penn and Teller: Fool Us (The CW): Magicians tonight include Scott Green, Mike "The Mind Noodler" Donnolly, Doc Dixon, and Sangsoon Kim (The Mind Noodler?!?!?!?)
Antiques Roadshow (PBS): 2 back to back hours of reruns--both eps set in Palm Springs
Winter Castle (Hallmark): Your Hallmark Channel Movie of the night is this one where a woman goes to the wedding of an old friend and connects with the best man but then she meets the best man's plus one and hits it off even better with the plus one. (I think the plus one is also a man because i imagine that it'd be too off brand for Hallmark to have a movie where a woman hooks up with another woman, but maybe i'm being too harsh on Hallmark???)
9:00
CBS Fall Preview (CBS): See what future actors and actresses will make me scream CBS! CBS! CBS! when randomly mentioned in the comments here! (I didn't know Aasif Mandvi was gonna be a cast member on "Evil" Kyle MacLachlan is gonna be on Carol's Second Act?!?!?!? How did that happen?!?!?!?)
Whose Line Is It Anyways? (The CW): Brad Sherwood # 3 (I take it to mean this is his third appearance on the show, and not that this is Brad Sherwood Clone No. 3 appearing tonight as opposed to Brad Sherwood Clones No. 1 and 2)
Impractical Jokers (TBS): Because its not enough that there's round the clock reruns on Tru TV--TBS is now airing an hour of reruns (These back to back episodes were from April of this year!) every Monday night. (Hockey Mike--I dunno what kind of deal you made with the devil here but clearly its paying off...)
American Pickers (History): Frank "Tick-Tock" Fritz is over the moon when the guys stop at a Portland clock shop that's a showcase for vintage mechanical wonders. (I think that's what that movie Mr. Magorium's Wonder Imporium was based off of!)
The Terror (AMC): Japanese Americans are forced to undertake a humiliating exercise that divides the community. Chester comes face to face with a man who forces him to question his very name. Liz is stricken by grief and forced to make an important choice. (I havn't been watching this, are they finally at the point where they're being rounded up and sent to internement caps yet???)
Ghost Adventures (Travel): Exploring a haunted lighthouse in Washington; then exploring a 150 year old cargo ship parked in San Diego for all that time. (That's a long time to be parked and not get towed!)
Drain the Oceans (Nat Geo): Exploring London's secret history. (Secret history of sewers i'm hoping!)
Fast 'N Loud (Discovery): (shrugs)
Gomer Pyle (MeTV): This episode tonight is titled "Gomer Tends To A Sick Cat" so no bonus points for guessing what the episode is about!
9:30
Big Bang Theory (CBS): Part One of the two part series finale is reran tonight. (It'll be a very sad day for CBS next Monday when they have to say good-bye to running lucrative reruns of BBT for good)
Green Acres (MeTV): "Oliver gets into an argument with a mysterious person whom no one else can see while on a picnic" (Hmmm!!!!)
10:00
Grand Hotel (ABC): Danny's true identity is revealed. Satiago struggles with life changing news from Mrs. P. What happened to Sky waaaaay back in the opening minutes of the pilot ep is finally revealed. (I kinda enjoyed the show for the most part, it was ok enough summer filler, tho it kinda felt like the sort of lightweight yet semi diverting thing that a cable network would've offered up, but it was half decent)
Bull (CBS): This rerun ep (only two more weeks til the new season of everything starts!) finds long time Bull assistant Marissa's husband facing two possible counts of negligent homicide (or something) after two people in his restaurant are killed with extreme food poisoning or something. Do you think Bull can get him off the hook? Have you ever seen a legal show before?
POV (PBS): "GRIT"---A teen recruits her neighbors to fight against a mulitnational gas drilling company allegedly responsible for displacing 60,000 people in an Indonesian village that was submerged in mud. (That's a lot of people!)
Lodge 49 (AMC): Liz goes into business with Lenore, Ernie reunites with Connie. Dud and Beth try out marriage (!!!). Blaise and Scott's conflict comes to a head.
Cops (Paramount): Vehicles peel out of a parking lot when officers arrive to break up a street race; a driver tries to crack jokes to lessen the seriousness of his charge, a woman cares more about her oral hygiene than her warrant. (Well i mean when you got to brush your teeth, you gotta brush your teeth you know?)
Aaron Needs A Job (Discovery): Working on a tram car some 80,000 feet in the air above the desert; then its on to building a hovercraft in Indiana; and then spending time with woodworker turned car builder Issac Cohen. (Is that a job that people have???)
Hogan's Heroes (MeTV): And finally on this tv night we have "A Parisian cabaret singer wants in on Hogan's latest scheme." (For Cabaret--Ho-Gan-Herooooooooosssssssss!!!)
WELCOME TO THE WORK WEEK EVERYONE WHO HAS A JOB!!!!
