It's no secret that Trump thinks that he can "win" a trade war with China. So far it hasn't mattered that everyone has told him that one doesn't "win" and that whichever way tariffs are applied it will be US businesses and consumers that pay them. This is especially true in the case of China. Beijing will gladly let it's people suffer until Washington relents. And do you think Walmart is going to pick up the check? Or pass it on to us? In the meantime whenever Trump threatens China then China strikes back with more tariffs. [CNN Business]
